This is a crit based 3-in-1 build using Cyclone + Frost Blades + Blade Flurry.

I have always wanted to play a crit based Cyclone build and with the re-introduced version of the Goddess Sword - Oni Goroshi in patch 3.1, I decided to create one with the sword as the center piece.

3 main skills are used in the build, namely: Cyclone + Frost Blades for mapping and Blade Flurry for single target.

The Goddess sword will be the host for Blade Flurry.

Use a ring / amulet / abyssal jewel with fire damage so as to proc Her Embrace.

Provides the overleech from Slayer. Without life and resist rolls are it's biggest drawback. Allows you to go Berserker + Raider for more DPS

Provides very good damage boost to the build when you run Anger aura.

If you are not able to obtain the above stats, prioritize "Gain #% physical damage as extra fire damage while affected by Anger".

Intimidate + Maim on hit with the right abyssal jewels inserted. Can't beat free damage.

Insane clear speed with Crusader's explosion mod.

Preferred additional Hunter mod:
1. Attacks have +1.#% to critical strike chance
2. You can apply an additional curse

Loreweave is the perfect chest for the build.

Death's Aura provide free chaos AOE damage to surrounding monsters. Perfect for Cyclone.

Downside, you will want to get your chaos resistance to positive range or the chaos degen can hurt.

For it's 25% bleed chance and 5% max life as physical explosion. This gloves works great when paired with Cyclone + Bleed.

For those into YOLO play style, Abyssus + Lightning Coil provides the most damage output for the build.

"

Up to 50% increased Cyclone damage, 25% increased attack speed, 10% increased movement speed. You can run with 5L. Main drawback is the lack of defense stats.

Bronn's Lithe provides great damage buff to the build especially if you run Cyclone on 6L.

Up to 50% increased AOE radius and 50% increased area damage, great clear speed, comes with all resist and decent life.

Belly provides a large life pool to the build.

"

Huge supply on crit multiplier and Culling Strike on crit.

Downside:
- 40% less crit chance
- Requires a diamond flask to crit more reliably

However, I will leave it to players own discretion on whether they want to try this amulet out. :)

29% chance to gain endurance charge on kill. A lazy man approach to gain endurance charges without self casting Enduring Cry.

This jewel is pure luxury.

Recommended Rares - Preferred Rolls

Chest - Astral Plate Preferred (Crusader + Hunter influenced)

Crafting Crusader + Hunter Chest

- You need an ilvl 85 crusader and ilvl 84 hunter chest
- Transmute + Alteration + Augmentation slam till you get preferred mod on the influenced chest
- Use Awakener's orb on 1 of the chest to move the influence onto the other chest

IMPORTANT: Chest must only have 1 affix from the influence. If you have 2 affixes that belong to the influence, Awakener's orb will randomly pick 1 of them and move it over to the target chest.

Cyclone is not just for fortify buff. It is also to proc bleed. Besides that, Cyclone is also great for handling:

- Abyss
- Null portals
- Breach
- Harbinger
- Haku quests
- Easily handle elemental reflect map (using Sibyl's Lament in left ring slot + Soul of Yugul)

Was discussing with Viperesque who thinks Slayer is best.

Did you get deep into the theorycrafting portion of the build?

Scion might be interesting too.

Scion might be interesting too.

Slayer is definitely good ascendancy for the sword. However, since the sword is crit based, I feel Scion class will be a great fit for it too.

You get best of both worlds: Overleech from Slayer, and more crit from Assassin.

Besides that, because Scion is right at the center of the wheel, you can easily access to crit nodes in the skill tree.

You can use Ice or Flame (or even Stone for more life regen) golem with the build. Ice golem is preferred though for the crit chance and accuracy it provides.

It isn't that bad even with AOE nerfed.

However, the best damage combo for the build will be Abyssus + Lightning Coil setup.
