[SOLUTION] Constant disconnects at loading screens?

I feel your pain, I really do.
Every single thread about this seems to get completely ignored by the powers that be though. I've posted my MTR in a similar thread a couple of days ago, result, completely ignored.
It's quite frankly ridiculous. I'm sure if there was an error with an MTX sale, it'd be attended to immediately or at least acknowledged. Love the game, but my faith in it all is getting seriously eroded.
I loved Path of Exile.
I do not love Path of RNG.
Bloom gives me migraines, the over usage of darkness strains my eyes.
Save our game, remove all of the constant RNG and allow us to turn off Bloom or give us an in game brightness control!

GGG support absolutely read the forums, but they rarely respond directly here.

You should, instead, email GGG tech support about this. The failed authentication issue is definitely something inside the PoE "ecosystem", so whatever is going wrong, it is something only they know how to further investigate and fix.
Latency is abnormally high, and it's a complete dice roll if whether I would enter an instance or completely disconnect from it. It makes Lab runs impossible, even mapping can be frustrating as hell. I thought it would all be fixed by now since it's been going on for a week. The replies I read from the devs regarding the situation in other threads all blame the complainants ISP, but IDK, my ISP has been pretty flawless and games such as dota2 or pubg have no problems at all.

I guess I'll just tune into other games until this shit gets sorted out.
I have tried the following:

restarting computer
restarting router
unplugging router for 10 minutes
lowering graphical settings to bare minimum
lowering DX11 target fps to minimum
REPLACING the platter HDD the game was installed on

None of this worked.

I then tried installing the game onto a platter HDD raid array for faster platter drive load times and this cut down on the disconnects during loading screens by a small but noticeable amount.

I moved the PoE install from my platter HDD to my SSD (m.2 drive w/ PCI-e adapter) and all of these problems have gone away.
I tried snorting coke once. The ice cubes got stuck up my nose.

So that would imply that it is almost certainly something to do with the way that the game files are pretty much all stored within one gigantic ggpk packed file.

So, it's either buy an SSD, or put up with the disconnects which will probably get worse over time. No wonder the powers that be refuse to acknowledge or comment on this. It's hardly the type of thing that would be put in the game minimum requirements specifications "you need to buy/have an ssd" LOL

Same problem, can't afford SSD yet. Before 3.1 everything was fine, now I'm losing portals to map just because it dc'es me during the loading screen half of the time.
The games constant disconnections and random "back to login" made me take a two month break during last league. I waited for a week after the expansion and started playing again.

Same as before, constant random disconnections and bingo failures to even load the game. I played a lot of Grim Dawn. Thinking very hard of going back.

Which is a damn shame because the game of POE is simply the best there is. But, you can't play it reliability.

Go fig.
Test whether the same behaviour happens with Standard league characters.

I get lag and disconnects if I am on Abyss league. I get super smooth responsive gameplay if I am on Standard league.
For me it's the same on Standard tbh.
I don't think lag is related tbh, as once I am actually connected and loaded I get pretty much zero lag. Latency is good in maps, it's just that initial connection to the map/town/instance that causes the disconnection.

I have a SSD on order, when it arrives I will move my OS and poe to it and test it once again thoroughly. If it turns out to be that, I will be relieved, but also annoyed that there has been no official posting on the subject. An official post to that effect could have had me planning to get an SSD a lot sooner, and saved me many heartburn tablets :P

I have this problem since 3.0 and tryed everything, just the thought of having to load the game 10 times just to get inside a map makes me don't want to play the game.
I just wish GGG would acknowledge this problem and at least say they don't need how to solve this or that they are working on it. Right now its buy a ssd or bust and im not buying one just to play this only game that needs it.
