I think for Hardcore you will have to experiment a bit to find the perfect combination for survivability. For HC I'd probably go Crit Inquisitor and shatter everything.

Cast speed does little for us. You want to focus on attack speed, aim to get slightly under 4 APS with all your buffs and procs active.

Yes. We have no source of "enemies take x% increased damage" so Xoph's Heart/Blood is a multiplicative effect for us. Heart also gives a good amount of % fire damage and Blood gives us some nice Pen.

this is the gear i got now , my question is since i am getting assasin's mark from the shaped ring should i keep the pcoc? Bodyswap is for speed clearing trash maps below t14.

I got a Belt with 12 Cooldown reduction today, this means i can increase my APS to 4.0 + 12% = 4,48 APS right?

How does this involve the triggers per second? normally we have 4 Triggers per Second when we have 4 APS, with the Cooldown on the belt we have 4 Triggers per second + 0,5 = 1 extra Trigger every 2 seconds right?

I am kinda not sure how this mechanic works.

So I started doing this build and loving it so far! I'm level 86 and my gear is as following:



Am I going in the right direction? Any obvious upgrades or something else that I should change?

On a different note, I accidentally started building the Non Vaal Pact tree instead of Vaal Pact tree seeing as I don't have Atziri's Acuity gloves nor I'm planning to get it anytime soon.. is it that bad or should I actually respect a few things?

As a level 83 myself with this character I can assure you that even without vaal pact and acuities you have enough dmg mitigation due to high enough health pool, life flasks and leech that survivability is not a big issue without the acuities.

You need to be more careful though of course, but use this as a great opportunity to really learn boss mechanics. Vaal pact is a tricky luxury since people mostly think they can just stand there and dps while suddenly they get wiped, not even knowing why.

Use your quicksilvers, flame dash etc. for movement and you will be fine.

I cleared everything till t14 without much issues and I don't yet have acuities neither do I have vaal pact passive, including corrupted hydra (didn't yet get the maps to try other guardians) and so far manageable despite a relative low lvl of 83 (hydra map is lvl 83).

I do have kaoms chest though (currently 7.5kHP @ lvl83), you didn't link your chest, so I don't know how you do, but I wouldn't worry much, the build is a blast! DPS is more than adequate!

Isn't using Power Charge on Crit kinda redundant when wearing Oskarm? Anyone got an idea what to substitute it with?

Maybe I'm reading into this too much, but regarding the 4 APS target, would that be with or without crave the slaughter proc? Without it I'm at 3.58, and with I'm at 4.04.

any tips for leveling the passive tree? (vaal pact and acuity?)

Well, I see Author don't really play this char anymore and won't update the main post with any improvements...

Sad part if this build is when You need 15ex for acuities, 15ex for starkonja enchant and 15ex for anger leech watcher eye... :<
