Introducing the new Map Stash Tab!
" Ah thanks, I was going to ask if I had to buy a tab for each legacy Map variant. I'm going to pass on this too. Another overpriced GGG MTX. :-( Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.
I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- |

Personally, while I like the tab I do have to wonder both why it took so long to get even a bare-bones, "will be upgraded as time goes by" version and why it seems to be missing an obvious feature.
I can't help but think that a "base" map only tab could have been rolled out months or even a year ago to hold plain old normal rarity, zero quality maps since implementing a tab like that, at least to an outsider's viewpoint, ought to have been no more difficult than deleting the maps when stored before ticking up the appropriate counter and ticking that counter down before creating a new instance/object of that map when a player takes it out of storage. In theory one could also do the same with unidentified maps as well since maps, AFAIK, have no visible attributes when unidentified making it impossible for players to realize that storing maps causes them to be rerolled, for all practical purposes, much less take advantage of the mechanic. I also have to wonder why that sort of mechanic isn't incorporated into the final product. Seventy two maps is indeed a large number, and I doubt that most players will ever reach it even if they do silly stuff like me and my stockpiling of Mesa maps. At the same time, however, I can't see the practical reason behind being able to store only 72 white rarity, zero quality maps when "storing" them ought to be no more difficult than storing chaos orbs. |

" I personally don't play Standard, but I can see how this is a pretty big deal. Hopefully they merge them all into one tab. Perhaps an option in the tab to enable legacy overlay would suffice. Divination Card - Emperor's Luck.

Honestly didn't think it was possible. So it was an instant buy for me.

Oh boy, an even wider gap between free to play and pay to play. Can't wait for the inevitable pre-levelled characters.

Good design with the tier selection. Glad to finally see this!
However, my suggestion is to give people two map tabs for the price of one, as a quick fix to the problem of different map vintages (better yet, incorporate them into 1 tab, and select via a drop-down). That way they can store both their Atlas of Worlds and War for the Atlas maps. It's an easy temporary solution. There are lots of standard players, including me, who will be disappointed with the need to pay for multiple tabs. Standard is where this tab has its real value. It doesn't feel right that the tab can't store maps that we were farming only last week if we're using it for the 3.1 maps too. Personally, I have no issue vendoring my really old pre-atlas maps (others may differ). I would really like a mod sort feature, since I often chain maps with the same mod (beyond or twinned). The search box will do for now :) Last edited by BatHeart#7767 on Dec 12, 2017, 11:23:25 PM
