What "mine mechanic-changing" are you talking about?

There was also discussion about things that aren't the skill gems, and some confirmation about things that people have been talking about but haven't been officially confirmed, as well as some insight into the development of the new things. Also discussion about the changes to reflect.

Well, perfectly possible for me to have missed them since I arrived late. (only new thing I got was the mortar reflect news) Guess I'll try to rewatch it from the beginning
As for mine laying mechanic change, it was a few years ago I think, mines used to be laid at your feet (as in, no matter where you clicked, your character would immediately lay the mine where he was), it was changed to your character walking to where your mouse is unless you are pressing shift. its a downgrade that made the skill unnecessarily clunky.
Hey, but its OK cause the damage is good and who cares about HC. before I had a trapper+miner hybrid, afterwards I could not even play solely as a miner, way too clunky in comparison, Rory never gave a good excuse design-wise (cause there isnt one, duh). he just said something like "some people like it better this way", well, the obvious truth was that it was a design butchering to appeal to brainlets who cannot even find move-only

just make a twitch account, if you dont have one already, connect it to your poe account, click on a streamer who plays poe, mute the vid, and let it play in the background while you do whatever you want to on your computer, then you dont miss out of the promotion.
