People are so crazy "entitled" nowadays.. wow

If there is a raffle, they feel entitled to win or it is a scam. If there is a race they are entitled to win even if they hardly participated. Grow up!

Yep it used to be that fools by in large kept it close to the vest. but a couple generations of parents and schools that aren't willing to be honest to their children, a decade or two of participation trophies and here we are.

Guys doing math is easy, What i inderstood is this, the price has a chance to win of 1% every 5 minutes of watching the stream u like.
So how do they get 8,33 hours?

1% is cumulative for each account every 5 minutes, to get to 100% u have to watch for 500 minutes, if uget this divide by 60 minutes *1 hour* u get 8,33333333333333333333333333333333 for 100% to get the price.

If the roll is lucky u get it before this 8,33 hours, i guess continuos stream. the only thing i can think of why people are not recive the price.

must be continuos stream to stack the probability?

i dont know..

i havent recive yet, and im sure 100% that i had more then 8,33 hours watching stream. i wait till tomorrow after that calling the support POE.

i want to subscribe

EDIT: so apparently my account had a twitch drop error, I don't know for how long since I was able to get the purple effect before. So if you haven't gotten it it was probably disabled due to connection issues for no reason.

I've had a stream open for longer than that, no helmet, I don't think it's cumulative. Unless the twitch stream counting me as "away" disqualifies me from it, because it'll do that while I'm watching the stream. Been at least 10 hours open.

there must be something wrong with the script checking it. 10 hours straight and still no hat!

You are expecting to win? Math says it's unlikely.

Every 5 minutes you have a 99% chance to not win anything.

Over the course of 1 hour you have 12 99% chances to not win anything.

And after 10 hours you have had 120 99% chances to not win anything.

Put a different way, in 10 hours you have basically rolled a 100-sided dice 120 times. Rolling a 100-sided dice, there are 100 possible outcomes, any number from 1 through 100. Expecting a paltry 120 tries to guarantee you one of the tries will be "100", the only value that will win, isn't realistic.
