=499.8 minutes ~ 500 minutes
=500 minutes (:5)
=100 procs (dice rolls)
chance is 1%
1 - 0.01 is 0.99 (chance that it will not happen with one try)
0.99 to the power of 100 = 0.366 (0.99 x 0.99 x 0.99....a hundred times, result is the chance that the result will not proc upon 100 cosecutive tries)
1 - 0.366 (a chance that the result does proc)
= 0.634
0.634 x 100
= 63.4% (chance in %)

If I didn´t misunderstand something horribly:
8.33 hours give 63.4% chance.

to have 75% chance you would need 11.5 hours
for 90% 19 hours...

just throwing it out there that it may take a tad bit longer.
or just these 5 minutes, time of succes is unpredictable.

I've had a stream running for 12 hours, I passed out somewhere in the middle. No drops.

I hate everything about this promotion.

There are people who have never had luck with randomness and in this way they are penalized heavily.
To give you an example in 3 years playing only I saw an exalted, do I have to be connected to twich 3 years to get the cosmetics too?

And I do not complain about not getting the reward, I have no problems buying cosmetic boxes or whatever. The complaint is how GGG took this idea to get attention in Twich. You can do things in a better way.
