Those boots are really really weird

Am I the only one who feels highly disturbed by these boots?

I am staying in my HO forever!
If only that was even possible.
I'm dreading the days when I have to go to town and someone walks by in these shoes, creeping me out.

Funny though that I'm completely O.K. walking trough Act 3 Lunaris temple, where there are huge pools of blood with corpses and near death people drowning in it. Various abominations and mutilated people waiting in every corner to shoot their guts at you.
Act 4 where you literally walk trough the innards and intestines of a Beast as huge as a mountain. Floating eyeballs and their nest (which looks eerily familiar to a giant cock by the way).

I guess I have my limits too.

People who like or even love this boots must be the ones who watch films like Human centipede and Tusk like it was a cartoon.

I wish if there was a filter, where only the friends of that particular person could see these boots and the rest would see the base item of the shoe instead.
Too bad that could never happen in PoE, because the entire premise of creating items like these is to show them off. If only your friends can see you wearing them then there would be no point.

The only possibility to "limit" the appearance of these shoes is to make them a very rare drop and high level. Maybe dropping only in the highest map tiers.
Even then there is trading and people who will farm them like crazy, so basically it's a moot idea too.

Hope they're not levelling trash boots.
