What a helpful and constructive post. I'm surprised seeing a message like this from someone who obviously supports the game. You don't have to use it, stick to poe.trade if you want.

Trading is a big part of this game for me, so I was pretty pumped to see this mention.

After playing with the beta for a few minutes, I gotta say this has such a long way to go for me to switch from poe.trade. I went from excited to deflated very quickly.

Applaud the effort and if there were a way to set up searches in game, then I could probably live with it. Maybe that is in the long term road map and I really hope so. In the meantime this is a poor knock off of poe.trade and I see no reason to use it.

Please read trade manifesto. There will never be an in game trading system, ever ,ever, ever. GGG feels if you can search in game, most time would be spent playing the AH and not the game. They do not want trading to be easy and how the game is played. They want player interaction and strugles in trading.

It would be bad business for them to stick to a manifesto, if majority of people continue to request a feature.

It's just very weird that they think having it in-game would make it so much easier than alt+tabbing to a trade site and doing it. It's literally a few seconds to swap over (at most) to put in the search criteria and copy your whisper message. And then another few seconds to alt+tab back in. I've never honestly understood that reasoning but I accepted it a long time ago and I'm perfect fine using poe.trade.

Real talk though, is there a way to not have such huge items on the trade and keep it more compressed like poe.trade. Seeing 2 items per page is really not ideal. I really don't want to have to zoom out by 75% just to see more than 5 listings. I couldn't find an option to turn it off, simple statistics of the stats that have numerous variables would suffice, maybe an option to adjust it?
