I agree that one month league would be better (2w+2w) and imo it would be even more awesome if the first league evolved into the second. First two weeks you level your chars in the mild one and then after two weeks the 20exiles/inv bosses league start so you get to keep the chars you already leveled and try them on harder challenges.
League could be voided and rewards doubled since it's only one race now. 10 days is way too short and turmoil is way too much fun to be this short. I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

the thing i don't understand is after the events end, there is nothing planned there is a gap of time between release of 3.1, so why not just extend the events a little longer to fill this gap up?
I would like to understand. is it a technical reason? Like having the events extend too close to release could jeopardize the stability of 3.1? if that's the case, I'd like to know just to understand, I'm a curious person. | |
" I don't understand a lot more than you... 1) Harbinguer League is dead. Everybody or 90% of poe players are done. Take a look here on website top1 viewer streamer has like 90 views. 2) With a dead league running, and let's remember it started on august and the new league will be coming only 8th december ( that's a 5 month league, not the 3 months duration we are used to see ), we have at least 2 months ( octuber/nov ) of a dead league running and the Event is a good call to bring players back to full servers and full game again. 3) We're going to make a event, right, cool, awesome. But, this will start ONLY 10 Nov ( zzzz why? ) and the duration is 10 days. ( Again, why? ). So, basically, I won't be playing PoE for the next 2 weeks, til 10nov, by the simple reason GGG doesn't want to start it soon and make it last longer. And, again: why? With a new league set up to 8th december, We still in Oct and for no reason they give us a 10 day event only. Why? It should be at least 15 days each event. No reason for not doing it. Really. Also, I don't care with voided events. Not being able to acess my characters after event is done means nothing to me so I don't touch voided leagues. So, All GGG gives to me in the next 45 days ( til 8th december ) is a 10 days event. This sounds very bad and I'm very disapointed. I want to play the game, but I don't want to grind like a monster for 10 short days to get rewards.
I think poe is nice to play in small amounts, grinding a huge amount at once is bad for your health. Grinding to 85+ on a char in 10 days is literally sit on your ass and rota grind. I think the time frame and reward structure is cancer... I've been having wrist pain that has only gotten worse. I'd rather just take the time off to recover further rather than subject myself to a toxic 10 day grind fest to get some rewards. Once again, another great idea but poor execution which is signature and almost expected at this point. Like fuck the health and well being of your playerbase lol. The majority of ppl that play poe are 25-40,not a bunch of teenagers, you need to take into account health concerns.... I like this game but I am probably going to have to quit soon. After so many seasons the rsi has gotten so bad I had to start seeing a professional for help to manage the pain and I'm prob going to have to stop gaming for at least 6 months if I want to have usage of my right hand when I am in my 40s. It's fucking sad really. To want to do something but know that it's just a trap to ruin your life. Why ggg, why must you fucking do this every single time. |

I hate these events because they are to short and they are super fun. So you play event like this and then you are stuck with shit like Harbinger for 4 months.

" I play poe in the exactly other way, bro. I usually push very hard in 2-3 weeks and finish all league content and I'm done. All of this with lvl 100 characters and grinding 36/40 challanges. PoE to me is exactly like this, 2-3 weeks game and later I'm out. No way in this world I keep myself 5 months in the same league. After 1 month it becomes very slow and boring to me. The problem here, and the reason why I made this post, is 2-3 weeks is fine to me. To push lvl 90+ characters, etc. But, take a look: 2-3 weeks! 15 days +++. Not a stupid 10 days duration. This is really painful every for players that are very experienced on PoE ( like me for example ). Because from this 10 days, I will be able to play only 3-4 days, and 3-4 days to go for a lvl 90 to have a chance to get any reward is really a pain in the ass. What SHOULD BE something fun becomes a disaster gaming experience. And there is, of course, the fun part: This events are fun, I would like it to last longer even not being able to win any mtxs.... just to play and just4fun. i want to get the lvl 90 rewards and am looking for a bild just to get 90 Easy/fast and not dieing alot, till T11 maps is good, any suggestions? |
