A Four-year Release Retrospective

Not very vocal on the forums, but I though I would toss a post on here.

I wanted to toss a personal thank you to the GGG. You guys have done amazing work. It has been wonderful playing your creation and seeing it grow. Thank you for your time and effort and I look forward to the future of your game.

wow what an insightful post. Having played PoE since early open beta this post was a whirlwind of emotions. First of all Bex, what a wonderful job you have done as a community manager. I think other people have spoken in more detail about specific thing you have done so I will just summarize in saying it has been a joy to see your specific contributions and the general communication with the community from GGG. To say there arent flaws would be incorrect, but the pros far out way the cons.

With your specific mention of starting families I began playing PoE while in college, married my wife, and now we are expecting our first child in a few months. PoE is literally a game that had grown with me and i cant wait to see how it grows in the future. hopefully ill have enough time to play in the next few months. its been 7 leagues I've gone for a full totem, even if i cant keep that up ill keep enjoying playing PoE

Edit: as a good friend of Xedralya it really warms my heart to hear your response to him Bex.

Edit2: im sure xed would hate me saying this but i have a poe related song he sang about me which is quite impressive and I would love to share it with you bex if you were interested and i might care if xed agreed to it

Good god Bex. You scared the hell out of me with that ending. It sounded like you are going to leave GGG. Chris better tell you if you try to leave that it will be over Krillson's dead body!

I always enjoy reading your news posts!
Every morning the first thing i do is grab a coffee and go to the poe website to check for any news.
It's great to see how far my most favorite game has come! GGG really deserves it's success.

There have been a lot of great expansions but i still like to remember the release of Sacrifice of the vaal. Vaal orbs + vaal skill gems+ atziri+ corrupted areas was amazing when it was new and until today, i always enjoy bricking my items with vaal orbs.
