" What bad things were happening? I thought the bug reports were that Bubbling was double-dipping and so became strictly better than Seething. (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1610174) If I take the Profane Chemistry cluster, which gives a total of 50% increased Life Recovery from Flasks, will Bubbling (and Seething) flasks still give more instant healing than without the cluster? What about stop making microtransactions, and create things like:
- Click on scroll portals and get all around you; - Internal trade system, like on Auction House |

" The reason this isn't done is to prevent a character level 2 spectre build from playing in content that is much too high for it. | |

TLDR skip to end, better yet, don't bother commenting against my comment/suggestion/OPINION
------------------------------------------- --------------- Cannot offer suggestions of anything, cause get told "perfect as is" "STHU idiot" etc....This game could be amazing instead of just another game, so I will add the suggestions/comments here, likely will not be seen by actual devs. Add more crud, fix some small issues, but not optimize quality of life (brightness/gamma/contrast, color of various UI elements like drop shadows) or actual performance..am sure it is not easy, but it sure seems to be easy to add a whole whack of "look fancy" "flair" and seemingly much more emphasis on "super sales" than to actually make it work "proper" so those whom may or may not $$$ support you get the best product possible. Why make $$$ if you IMO are not doing things that actually make it worth playing especially mid to late game stages, there needs to be more "level range" in the higher tier maps so one does not run into a given map tier which you normally do good at and smack into a boss that one shots you, to have the Tier range spread out a bit better might make a tad easier for those of us trying to level up harder than "uber builds".. Some of the mods for the Lab do not always work, traps no longer function seems broke often, and the lag even when other games do not with far higher specs or far lower specs required is weird to say the least (with stable internet average on your game 10ms frame time, 43ms latency, 120+ FPS to start 38 or so even solo after an hour or so play Vsync, lock FPS does nothing) says there is something wrong about the memory allocation, not purging properly or something? ------------------------------------------------- ------------ IN GAME auction ability would help big time, especially for unique or maps would be excellent, not everyone can tab out of game without it crashing (or hurting game performance after they tab back in) am sure at hideout or in town "lock" so would not outright interfere with game play would not be so bad, and at least it could be more of a hands off approach, i.e put item for auction, buyer and seller do not need to jump out of maps to actually make the trade etc, would it really kill anything, I doubt it...On this note, even if there were only 1 tab to do this with, that still would be great, of course has to be a premium tab still, but, would be a great thing to have..hands off approach would be extremely helpful indeed. Reduction of cost for 6L 1500 is far too many IMO, 150 is 5L, 580 would be reasonable for 6L even 725 I can kind of see, but it's not like one can make boat loads of these 1500 is crud, the randomness of adding them does not help lol Hard to make sales when the buyers DC or bug you to jump out of a map then say not interested or try to haggle down the price even though put clear as day asking price etc. --------------------------------------------- ----------------------- Does not seem to matter the system specs you have or do not, if works flawless you "lucked out" for everyone else especially in parties or with lots of ground effects (magic casters especially) it turns into a "running through mud" lag fest for pretty much everyone that I know plays this game, usually ends in folks getting killed cause of latency/lag spikes because of it..sad truly is, want sales, but not want to make sure runs as great as possible. Actual performance optimization is drastically needed IMO, many of my friends have systems that are massively superior than my own, and have same problems with frame-time, latency, FPS even with Internet that is wicked fast ultra low latency Intel/AMD, Radeon/Geforce seems to matter very little, they still feel is "stuttery/jaggy" no excuse for that especially not for modern systems, I know I have similar issues because it seems the priority was always to add MORE instead of making it work properly. SSD does not help period (it is false to say it does for anything but loading/between zones maybe even causes some issues?) overclocking cpu/gpu or downclocking again makes no discernable difference either that I or buddies have noticed. For those who claim "never have any performance issues it's your system/internet" (when many such as myself KNOW that is not a factual reasoning) they are IMO lying to try and be l33t, or will not admit they suffer similar problems, or just maybe they have the few "lucky systems" that never seem to have these issues. ---------------------------------------------- ------------------------ Maps, should be X of a tier is X of monster level, easier to figure out if running it is actually worth running it, sure xp at higher levels 85+ should not be "easy" but should also not be a massive pain in the **** to get anywhere, play for 5+ hours to get a chunk xp in, die once, lose basically all of what you had gained, it is not about "catering" to every build/player, but rather some more optimization towards the mid to late game crowd, you know, the ones that stuck around long enough and maybe helped pay your salary. 5-10% per death would be acceptable, because when running very high level maps where you need that chunk of exp to make a difference, losing it still hurts, cause that 5-10% may be 10+ hours and maps wasted which tend to not drop near level they should be most times...yeh yeh, some games you can perma die, that is not the point. Another "tab" for loot that one may carry instead of having to portal back and forth, because things are SOOOOOO low cost in this game (not) Map Tier should also have a level attached to it on the card to show you the "toughness" of the boss. A++, A, B++, maybe even their base element likely to use i.e chaos, fire etc. So folks who are not intimately familiar live and breath PO might be able to better judge at a glance. Item level for maps (most other things such as strong box/lock box) seems to make 0 difference, nor does rarity, I do far better loot etc when 0 rarity/find boosted then when pay through the nose optimizing the map for item quantity/quality get virtually nothing out of it, unoptimized much. While at it, the divination cards would be really nice if the entire card "lit up" instead of only a very light color change for the small number blue to white, make entire face of card change color easier to identify. ------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------- ----------- TLDR want $$$$$$$ make it worth playing instead of needing to be very specific builds or not stand a chance, or find out real quick that your awesome computer for pretty much any game on the planet for some odd reason seems like a 10 year old system trying to run things way above its specifications required... Anyways, keep up the work of doing nothing to actually optimize the game performance for the AVERAGE PERSON playing your product (test systems at home office with next to no latency is not a valid test method) keep avoiding doing things that would make this game shine GGG. |
