Daily Deal Feedback

How often do you check the daily deals?
Every time I log in now. Back when I was a F2P player, I wouldn't bother. Although it took me years to realize that there were MORE things on sale than what was on the front page.

Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough?
The store in general is a bit confusing, but it wasn't too bad. "Specials" and "New" often seem interchangeable, or nonsensical.

Do you use the Watchlist feature?
No idea what that is.

Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type?
From my perspective, theme works best for you. I went on a buying spree when all the "gloom" things went on sale. I've never gone on a buying spree because all of one type of thing went on sale (Except maybe skill gems?).

What percentage of your microtransaction purchases would you estimates are made because of daily deals?
Back when I used to only put a few dozen bucks into the game per season, 0%. I would just buy a handful of seasonal chests. Nowadays, I keep an eye out for daily deals that I want. Maybe 30%? It's basically 60% seasonal chests, 10% stuff not on sale that I want right now, 30% stuff on sale that looks cool and I might want to use later.

Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work?
Would like to see more variety in skill gem mtx on sale. Feels like the only skill gems that go on sale are FOTM build skill gems.

- Didn't know there was a watchlist feature

Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type?
- Definitley theme based

- About 30% I would say.

Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work?
- Some form of customer protection, thats makes it so if i've bought an item for full price. And that same exact item would be released on sale within the coming 1-3/4 days there would be a way to discount the price to the current sale price. This is the worst feeling in the world, happened more than once...
I really want a 30 minute trial before I ultimately buy it, it has happened me multiple times that a certain MTX looks cool in theory or in the store but I end up not liking or it does not fit with my setup.

A wishlist would also be nice if that does not exist already for when a specific MTX goes on sale.
How often do you check the daily deals?
- several times a day i case i missed anything :D

Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough?
- they are. moreover i think its important that they are not always "right in your face"

- i enjoy both. maybe themed on weekdays and type (e.g. accoun features / all body armours / all portal effects etc.) on weekends

- half

Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work?
- weekly/monthly sales schedules might be nice. that way you dont buy sth for full price and it goes on sale nex day (terrible feeling)

- Once a week

- Only for stash tabs sales

- Yes

- Microtansaction

- 90%

- I thik it'll be nice to add some cheap random loot (skin tranfers, fireworks...) to incentivize buying
larger packs on daily deals

- In my opinion supporter packs and weekend sales are amazing, but daily deals go unnoticed quite often.
There has to be something special for daily deals, maybe adding flash sales with extra discount will
help.
I also think that deals need to be more visible in Steam

How often do you check the daily deals?
every day from monday to friday
Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough?
they are still too expensive ...i would like to buy full sets but your greediness limits me to buy only wings once a month
Do you use the Watchlist feature?
no
Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type?
theme
What percentage of your microtransaction purchases would you estimates are made because of daily deals?
99% because i can't afford the full price ...and that 1% is from mystery boxes that i will never ever buy again ...and the duplicates i got will haunt me for the rest of my life
Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work?
YES ...add ultimate chaos wings and other cool stuff that are locked away because of stupid RNG mystery boxes ...this just makes me not spend any money for 4 months until they are released
- Everday
- Yes, they are accesible enough
- I forgot about this feature lol
- Prefer sales on type
- I think 95% of my purchases are from sales
- Can´t think of any new features for sales atm
I know they are called "Daily Deals" but I can't count how many times I missed a watchlist item by a few hours and missed out on paying GGG some extra cash for it. Therefore I would suggest doubling the duration of the deals (to 48 hours) without changing the frequency of new ones (daily). This would mean there would be overlap:

Day 1: Deal A begins
Day 2: Deal B begins (A continues)
Day 3: Deal C begins (B continues)
Day 4: Deal D begins (C continues)
etc.

24 hours is just too short to be notified and log in to buy anything if you are an adult with a full time position. Most games give multiple days or even weeks notice of upcoming deals. Why are we only notified on the same day?

Also, please consider doing "special" sales where prices are dropped even more % than normal. This would change up the monotony of the deals and incentivize players to really take advantage of these days when they occur.

I) Every day!
II) Yes!
III) Yes, very useful if you don't want to miss out on a specific MTX
IV) Both Theme and Type are awesome, lets say, i prefer a massive "all weapon effect" daily deal, its amazing! But its very important to have theme also, because its frustrating when you want to complete a set and never see the different pieces on sales. So i would advocate to have Theme all the time but at some point, Type for hype!
V) 70% come from daily deals, i'm a student ffs.
VI) I would have spent so much more if there was a preview feature on MY characters or at least a 10 min insta refund policy. I got trolled by rediculous clipping by so many MTX i learned my lesson. Dont buy until somebody ingame shows it to me, that can take months because they just dont care.
Not related to daily deals, but quite a few players seem to mention they want a way to deal with duplicates from mystery boxes.

In The Elder Scrolls Online they have a similar system to Path of Exile's mystery boxes(crown crates), from which the content is not directly buyable in the store for money as well. However, the content from those crates is available in the store for shards... these shards can only be gained when a crate rolls a duplicate microtransaction, the game instead gives an xx amount of shards depending on the microtransaction. So even if you get 100 times the same microtransaction, you would instead get the microtransaction once, and 99 times xx shards. Allowing you to directly buy one or two items from the boxes, even if you were unlucky not to get anything.
This system is basically a fail-safe which would work for mystery boxes as well.

Just a thought.
