How often do you check the daily deals?
Spoiler
Whenever I have a free second in game if I see the chat message. I usually see most of the daily deals if I'm playing that day.
Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough?
Spoiler
Yes and no. Stash tabs end up being affordable, but 300-400 points for alternate gear artwork is not worth it for me. I prefer buying 100-200 point skill effects or stash tabs.
Do you use the Watchlist feature?
Spoiler
Didn't even know this was a thing until today.
Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type?
Spoiler
I think I prefer type in the sense that if I'm playing a new character with new skills,
I'll be more inclined to purchase skill effects if they're on sale. What percentage of your microtransaction purchases would you estimates are made because of daily deals?
Spoiler
80-90% (stash tab sales are great!)
Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work?
Spoiler
A schedule that rotates mtx type. Example: Stash tab sale every Monday, skill effect sale every Friday, etc.

I check daily and I do use the watch list.
I would like to see armour pieces for past sets also go on sale from time to time, perhaps when the set is on sale? Consider bringing back the "Everything in the store is on sale for x% for a limited time". Like a couple black Fridays ago, I was excited for that sale! There are only four rules you need to remember: Make the plan, Execute the plan, Expect the plan to go off the rails, Throw away the plan. Follow my lead and you’ll be fine.

How often do you check the daily deals?
Randomly if I notice it when I log in, so maybe 30% chance of me noticing each day. Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough? I notice the delay when loading mtx shop in game, but it's fast enough it's no trouble for me. I don't check forums. Do you use the Watchlist feature? No, I don't check my gaming email often enough. Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type? Type is easier to know whether there's something I might want if I'm missing a slot of armour for certain characters, theme can be too vague which means more clicking and I usually don't feel like scanning everything on a list. What percentage of your microtransaction purchases would you estimates are made because of daily deals? 80%, character slots aren't on sale enough, and then some boxes. Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work? Specifically to the deals aspect, I really want character slots added to the once every 2 week stash tab in game spam sale, and if not included in some other rotation so that it does occasionally go on sale at some point (after league end? before league start? am I just not noticing it?). MTX wise, would buy extended friend and ignore list slots if ever introduced just a scrub.

How often do you check the daily deals?
Daily. Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough? Yes. Do you use the Watchlist feature? Yes. Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type? Theme, because it will cover multiple microtransaction types, from different categories, which appeals to me. I think the odds (based on possibly a random choice on GGG's end) will be better suited for everyone. What percentage of your microtransaction purchases would you estimates are made because of daily deals? 80% Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work? I think that it would be an awesome feature to allow us the consumer the option on a daily deal, to reserve one of the daily deal items for a day to a few days. For example: The gloom wings go on sale for 200 points, however, someone doesn't quite have 200 points at the moment. Perhaps they would have been able to purchase the item once they were paid from work, or able to round the money up but just need a few days or so (I would have to imagine that this scenario happens all the time). Maybe You(GGG) could allow a small deposit to hold that item, at the discounted price, for up to a few days? The deposit could maybe consist of using a small amount of points to hold your sale item (possibly 10% of the sale price?) There's nothing worse, than having an item that you really want, go on sale, only when you can't afford to get it on THAT specific day. Who knows how long it will be, until it's on sale again? I think that this option would be profitable for GGG, and a great service to us, the consumer. The LORD will march forth like a mighty Warrior, He will come out like a warrior, full of fury. He will shout his battle cry and crush all his enemies.

I use them a lot when its really nice (i feel like you should make the deals better, since there is such a variety of mtx out there now its hard to get the deal on what you what) Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough? Explained above ig Do you use the Watchlist feature? I didnt even know there was a watchlist? Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type? How often do you check the daily deals?
Every day. Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough? I can see them on my phone, my tablet, and my pc. Do you use the Watchlist feature? Didn't know it was a thing. I will now. Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type? Typically theme, felt lucky recently with the Deicide armor and infernal weapon effect I've been waiting for. What percentage of your microtransaction purchases would you estimates are made because of daily deals? Almost all of my purchases. Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work? For some reason on the mtx store in the game itself I don't see the savings, only see them on the website. I'd definitely like to see the original price listed on the buy menu. | |
How often do you check the daily deals?
Regularly. Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough? It's fine. Maybe put a link to the category in the shop dropdown on the site. Do you use the Watchlist feature? I would if I didn't already own everything in the shop that I care to own. Back when I was waiting for the Badge of Skulls shield to go on sale I would have used it but it didn't exist. You know what? I'll just go put a couple things on it so you can register this as a "yes". It's a good feature. Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type? No preference. They're both decent ways to organize sales. It feels better when there's more than like five things to pick from per sale, though. What percentage of your microtransaction purchases would you estimates are made because of daily deals? A fair amount. I'm more likely to get something on sale than impulse buy something for a current character I may only use once. At least now; I had like 5k points at some point, so I was a bit more willing to let them fly. Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work? A "last on sale" line. Sometimes it's half a year since the last time something made it to a daily deal. You want to make people buy expensive shit? Let them know how rarely it actually goes on sale. Oh, and maybe add a timer for when the current batch expires because on the site there's on way to know this. Extra! Here's my opinions on how the shop in general needs work. — No way to search. I should be able to type "shield" on /shop and get a list of shields. — The "newly added" list is a bit large -- 112 items. — There's no way to filter any given list down to "things I can afford right now". — "Armor effects" is much too broad a category and could be broken up a lot. Currently 226 items! Armor sets should probably be its own category. Barring that, they could only be listed as separate pieces on user interaction to save space/scrolling. — Being unable to preview MTX in-game on our characters is a huge bummer. I recognize it's a gamble; it might increase sales but it might also decrease them when people find out something isn't cool enough to pay for. But as a player with emotions instead of a guy with a spreadsheet tracking profits, it disappoints me. — Relatedly, the YouTube previews usually aren't good enough. They never show something on all the characters. Many specifically ignore the Templar because he's the fugliest character model in any modern game. Others are shown either in ideal situations (e.g. Witch vs. Marauder because she wears it better) or not shown together with their intended application (e.g. the new "raven" cloak). Sometimes the slow motion gives a false impression of things. Slow-motion Raven SRS? Looks fucking awesome. In practice? They're super-fast, hard-to-see globs of black with some glowing Flesh Offering effect on them 100% of the time. — The arbitrary restrictions on weapon skins is infuriating. Some can replace weapons of different types while others can't. One of example out of the many currently available: The Garuda dagger works on daggers, wands, *and* claws while the Seraph dagger is limited to only daggers and wands. Both daggers but with arbitrary restrictions. Weapon skins should trigger new animations, letting most restrictions be removed (minus one-handed vs. two-handed, obviously). — It'd be great if there was an "already owned" flag/count. Do I know if I have a purple Herald effect right now? No. I'd have get up off my Macbook, turn on my gaming PC, loaded up PoE, select a character, first-load three dozen sets of other people's MTX in whatever town I'm placed in, bail to my hideout, and *then* open up my MTX panel to search for it. Sheesh. https://redd.it/p0hyul Last edited by Futchya on Sep 19, 2017, 12:17:22 AM

How often do you check the daily deals?
Never. Maybe I've seen them but I've never gone to the shop to check them on purpose. Do you feel that Daily Deals are accessible enough? I didn't know they existed. I only knew about the weekend deals. Do you use the Watchlist feature? Nope. I didn't see the reason to use it since the weekend deals are so well publicized. Makes more sense with daily deals. Does it email or text me though? I don't log in every day, so I'd need to get an email notification and I don't even have my primary email connected to this account, so it would be kinda difficult. Do you prefer sales based on theme or microtransaction type? Type. What percentage of your microtransaction purchases would you estimates are made because of daily deals? 0%. Are there any features that you would like to see added to how Daily Deals work? If watchlist email/texting notification isn't a thing, it should be. Many people I know use alt email accounts for stuff like gaming, so texting would be especially nice. |

" Every day I play. " I guess so, I don't really have an opinion one way or the other. Usually somebody would be looking for specific sale items so from that standpoint it's kinda random. " No, I didn't know there was one.... " Theme. " 75% " I think that the "Weekend Stash Tab" sales should just go away, and the Stash Tab products be permanently priced on sale. Those weekend sales could then be replaced with other themed sales. As you are likely away, it's the norm to "wait until stash tabs go on sale" because you do it so often, I'd recommend removing that. |
