" I really like ur paintings mate. I think the way you build them up obviously with shitloads of brushwork over and over rly pays off with an interesting texture/range of marks. Its always the extra challenge with digital, how are you gonna get away from having 1 flat shade of X colour and then 1 lighter shade of X colour that sort of blend between each other in a fairly naive, cartoon simplistic way, how are you going to get a subtle range of colours and tones and light sources thats more interesting and realistic in the way a talented oil or acrylic painter would? Theres no 2 ways about it you just got to go ham on the layers, build it up with brushwork over brushwork over brushwork, takes a lot of time and perseverance, I think you make it work really well. |

Kinda bummed out that both my post didn't get to the highlight, maybe the casual theme and bright colours didn't suit well enough. Well, I'll still be submitting anyway Here's Innocence, It's a rather simple one wonder why no one draw him yet, his design and boss fight is pretty cool, he didn't even have a wiki page yet. hahaha, poor guy on to Sin | |
