[3.0] Death Aura Build - Guardians done

I'm assuming this build is also somewhat tanky. I do like tank builds that provide a lot of damage, and can run uber lab. I run the aura RF build which I enjoy a lot.

Does this build feel tanky to you and sustainable on uber lab perferctly fine?
Hey guys,

I try to keep you up to date about my progress playing this build. For now I am still looking for a huge single dps output for bosses. I changed the helmet to "Heretic's Veil" and it works awesome. Since the effect from "Eber's Unification" just trigger when we use a spell (movement spell or blight), it is possible to run with Heretic through a group of enemeys and all of them just explode (up to T14).

For now I have the following suggestion: Once we linked up our chest, we could simply change one gem (to ED f.e.) to get a greater boss damage output (haven't tested it yet) - there are for sure other possibilites but I am still in progress testing different things.

Here is my current Build-Set-up:

ive done some testing and i think you should be able to build this with a scourge for better clear speed
the 70% generic damage on hit is just 30% shy of breath's 100% chaos

most importantly you get faster whirls/shield charge, and you can build around minion damage as another damage modifier, it should be good as a weapon swap, for running through maps, then switching to breath for bossing.

heck even dual wielding them as your main or swap weapons to bump up both damage and clear speed sounds pretty legit imo. as for sustaining hits vs bosses while channeling blight, possibly an orb of storms in an unset ring should be good enough

also i have no idea why your running grace when your not stacking much evasion?
purity of elements for easy gearing
haste to go faster
or even vitality would be better for the regen

you could even drop the 2nd enlighten and aura then shove discipline in your heretics, freeing up some links for vaal skills, cwdt/cast when stunned set ups or even both.

Hello,

(1) I mainly leveled with Tabula Rasa with Blight - CwC - Dark pact - other dot/chaos supports. (Before lv62)

(2) Ascendency: Occultist - Void Beacon, Profane Bloom, Wicked Ward and Vile Bastion

(3) The chest sockets do not need to be linked. All gems in Death's Oath will be considered linked to Death Aura skill.

Yes, it is quite tanky in Uber lab. (Similar to LL RF builds)

Yes, most people reply in this thread is also looking for some way to kill map bosses faster. For the original build, it works just fine and all Guardian fights are deathless. If you would like to use ED 6L on the chest, it may require some modifications to Aura gems (you need more unsaved mana to cast ED).

Great idea on the Scourge!

Grace aura makes me feel more comfortable when I leveled from 80 to 90.
I haven't done too much testing on other aura setups. (Quite busy IRL recently)

Please let us know if this works well vs. the Shaper.

Edit: Oh, BTW. Void Gaze is triggered on a skill use, so it does not need a "hit" to trigger.

As i promised i will share my thoughts. Just hit lvl 80 and got all i wanted for this build. First i got 5off colors using vorici 1g1b 2 times in 2ex of chromes (once was 3g2b1r and second was 3b3g1r). I vaaled that armor and i got 6l yellow which i sold for 1ex. Bought another one and again i hit 3b2g1r in one ex of chromes vaaled it and i got

Im not really sure if its better to use vorici trick with jews or just 1g1b vorici chromes. I made my 5 off in 2ex.
Since i got everyhing vaaled im using
for sweet es regen. Using shield charge+decay+fortify setup in breath of the council, vaal trap+chaos golem+arctic armour in shield. Head is blasphemy+vulner+discipline and vitality. Boots setup is faster casting whiter spell totem inc duration. Bated breath is good choice for belt. Currently almost 8k es (will be when i get discipline to lvl 20) + i have 18% es to get later on tree. Build feels very good, currently tier 8 and 9 maps and i just run while everthing explodes. Bosses are also piece of cake with blight in allelopathy. Will see later but i think this build can do any content ...

my testing with scourge was done with my necro.
cant really give any reports as im just starting this build lol, dont know if ill reach shaper as im also a pretty casuall player these days.

anyways i just crafted me a 5 off color deaths oath in just 500 jewelers, stats on it can be better but nothing some divines can fix, cant wait to level my character up.
