Hello. If you haven't gotten Lavianga yet, you may want to avoid no regen maps. Once you have the flask and is comfortable using it, no regen maps are no problem if you manage your flasks well :). Vaal clarity may also help in this department if you are having mana issues.

Loving the build so far, gotta go fast! ...and absolutely wreck everything as you run past. Quick question though, what's the preferred gem swap for mapping? What do I remove for Splash? And is Minion Speed worth switching one of the other gems, or just quality of life?

For general mapping if you have sufficient DPS: Minion Speed + Melee Splash (Remove Elemental Focus + Elemental Damage with Attacks).

If you don't feel like you have enough damage to efficiently clear, then you can leave in Elemental Focus instead of Minion Speed. I'll have to say that minion speed really pushes the build to another level though, letting your SRS fly super far out and easily keep up the rampage stacks. It's very satisfying. :)

It's not mandatory at all! Just too good of an item (unfortunately) if you want to find more loot. I switch it for a solid amulet vs tough bosses. I do base my build so that it doesn't rely on the amulet nor belt for any required stats/resistances though for flexibility.

Is the effect with The Scourge still working?

Just tried a couple of maps and noticed I had no wolves summoned at all.

EDIT: Oh nvm, literally just found the answer 3 pages ago. Minions won't proc it by itself.

It works, but you have to be the one killing for it to proc :X.

This means that it really only happens when you are rampaging/effects or under crazy hh buffs or culling stuffs w/ culling strike on scourge :X. No worries, the wolves are more for fun, cosmetic stuffs :) They're just fun/cute (each does about 22k dps for me vs shaper/guardian on my pob, linked to faster attacks and fortify xD).

I found a few other Scourge SRS guides, but this guide is awesome, more detailed then the others, but I was already past the leveling stage when this was posted. I've stopped playing PoE a bit, but planning to level this and try the harder content.

Rocking a +1 Tabula atm, how important is Skin of the Loyal? Can I clear endgame stuff with that setup reliably? A +1 Belly seems pretty unrealistic for my budget. :(

One thing I'd like to add: for me, PoB shows that EDwA is actually better than a lv3 Empower, using a +1 chest. It becomes about equal with a lv4 Emp, and gets only better with the +2 Skin setup. So in a normal mapping setup I'm using EDwA and swapping Empower only for bosses. Am I missing something?

Yoooo! Glad you are picking it up to try again at harder content. The few other Scourge SRS guides (perhaps epic or spanishmonarch) were based off of mine xD (I discussed it with a few close friends in the 3.0 Beta). I wasn't planning to write a guide but after getting so many questions, I decided to do so, making it as accessible and detailed as I can ><! Still lots of work to be done *_*

A +1 Tabula serves almost the same function as a regular +1 Skin of the Loyal for you if you're solo. Skin of the Loyal only really shines with supports (check out the support section of the guide to see the kind of boost you get) ;D. Honestly, if you know your way around the mechanics etc, everything in the game can be cleared on a regular Tabula :X

Ah yes, the strength in Empower itself is not necessarily in the raw damage it gives but rather in both the damage AND raw base hp it gives the SRS, letting survive in tougher environments. Dead SRS = 0 dps. ;D (Although I'd have to add that a Lv4 empower in a +2 Skin of the loyal = spicy +5 Level. . . combined with Lv21 Srs, you get Lv28 SRS, which is the same as a +3 staff but with all the benefits of using Lyco and Scourge!) <- This was used in the Shaper Vid :X

How does this build mitigate damage. It seems like it is almost entirely built around offense rather than armor or evasion. MOM gives a nice cushion but with the majority of my mana being reserved, i don't feel like MOM really does much for me. Any suggestions?
