I've been planning out flicker for 3.1 so I've been looking around at trees and I was wondering: What was the main reasoning behind the Mayhem tree? Did it just fit the race better? Your original tree seems to be more damage, more health (if you switch around some of the res/evasion nodes), and more QOL (more charges, higher MS, more crit).

Yes I would use carnage heart for progression and then swap to biscos for farming.

The Turmoil tree was to incorporate the wretch. I came into turmoil with the mindset of just doing what ever I wanted for fun, then found myself near the top of the slayer leader board. I changed up my thought process to fit into a role of a beyond killer. What I found is a reliable team comp both in turmoil and in mayhem is to have 1 aurabot, 1 cursebot, 1 aoe dps carry (or wander) then 1 single target dps to clean up tanky beyonds. This comp seems to be pretty competitive.
Overall the wretch build felt a bit more tanky due to having similar EHP but having much more leach rate. Both builds were around 6k hp at the end of the build. The HH version of course ramps up so much better in solo play but in party play the wretch version fit the role of clean up really well. We also didn't have multiple head hunters for our team.

You would still use it even though it's nerfed? wouldnt it be better if you have amulet like carnage heart which gives you lots of damage (for this build) so you can clear faster?
The new vuln gem gives chance to bleed, this gives the opportunity to run bloodlust in flicker, worth trying i believe.

Clearing faster is only so good. If you instantly kill everything with or without biscos then forsure use biscos.
From what I know biscos is only going to be much more rare rather then actually getting stats reduced.
