You can't change it specifically for DP (unless it gets an MTX in the future).
The only thing you can do is change effects in general (i.e. by disabling post-processing).

Is it important to try having a bit of chaos resistance? I have -44% for the moment.

I try to know what i can optimize on my build.

Just gonna give an update here.

I got to level 88 so far. The build is super strong. I play with Dual Void Batteries. The build allowed me to generate about 4ex and I ran T14 maps with ease (didn't have any higher maps drop). Beachhead is a joke. I started this build as my league starter pretty much. Bought all of the starter gear and was playing with a 4L soul mantle at first and now have a 5L (still can't afford a 6L). My resists are overcapped and I could go for Inya's boots for even more damage.

Atziri was a joke. Uber lab was a joke (did it late because I was missing trials and had 14 skill points unspecced waiting for the ability to start on Shadow side of the tree). (I did both before my dual void battery setup using Divinarius and some crappy shield). Overall, I have a lot of fun running around and popping a totem to clear trash. I am a Hierophant so I have a Wither Totem in my helmet (find it a nice QoL). I want to push this to be my first ever Guardians/Shaper/Uber Atziri killer.

I have played PoE (on and off) since 2013 and this is the furthest I ever reached in the game (previously got to T10-ish maps with a CoC Discharge build but that couldn't handle Atziri). I have 4.4k HP, 1000 eShield and 2k mana using MoM. in 4 levels I should have over 5k HP (going into an HP circle in Passive Tree).

I want to thank Shep and everyone else for their ideas and support with this build. I am starting a new char now as well (just to change it up a little when I get tired of running maps).

My appraisal of the build:

League starter: 10/10 - I bought and upgraded my gear myself as I got wealthier
Fun: 10/10 (run, place totem, everything dies, repeat)
Safe: 10/10 (all the def mechanics + being "protected" by totems goes a long way)
Currency generation: 8/10 (while not a super fast map clearer, you save a ton on just alc+map and go)
Fast map clear: 7-8/10 (not super fast but comfortable)
Boss killing: 10/10 (not for speed but for ability to kill them in a safe/quick/reliable manner)
Guide: 10/10 (from leveling to everything else, it's very clear and easy to understand how this build works)

Resistances get more effective the closer you are to the cap.
For example: getting an extra 25% resist at 50% will halve the damage you take.

For chaos resists, it's not worth the investment. Chaos damage is balanced around having no/little resistances and is also a rare damage type. Very few builds need it.

I don't know if I have overseen it Shepuuurd, did you provide a PoB Link to the Build? If not, could you do so please? If I import your character, I see only 150k Damage and don't know if this went right... probably misconfig etc.

I'm not a fan of PoB numbers because they can be very misleading (there's a lot of bait-builds out there), so I prefer to let the videos do the talking.
I could easily provide a PoB link with over 5 million Shaper DPS (with 3 totems), but that's not what I want to advertise.

I have changed my character a bit so the numbers are different from previous messages.

Did my first guardians kill with this build at lvl 83, 5l, and 18-19 lvl gems(20/20dp tho). Build is great, pretty safe, and really cheap(my whole gear with jewels cost about 4 exa).
