Unofficial Offline Skilltree Calc (Delete the Data folder to update. Stop posting "update please" )
" It has not, you have. Delete your data folder and it will download the newest skilltree from pathofexile.com.
You really should implement something to check if a new version is available ... half of the questions could be solved.
I guess saving the skilltree json and comparing against it on startup (maybe in a separate thread) would do the trick. Unofficial Offline Skilltree Tool by Headhorr and me:

" Then the tool would allways connect on startup, even when it doesn't need, but i should probably put a button somewhere to check for updates.
" Oh ok, my bad, it has been a while I had the tool and never actually did that to refresh it. Explains why I still had the old CI lol. Thank you

Bug: When switching class with the saved builds tab open, the class doesn't switch (it will say Witch in the dropdown when it's still using Templar as the starting node for example).
Bug: Skill all matching nodes for big requests (e.g. 'life') crashes the program. Suggestion: Add notes to saved builds so we can do things like describe skill point allocation preferences or list required gear.
" I can't reproduce either of your bugs. Are you using the newest version 1.41? Are you sure it crashes? it takes a while to select all "life" nodes, ~20s on a 3.8ghz i7 Regarding your suggestion, I have something like that planned for the next release. Not sure yet when it'll be ready. Last edited by Headhorr on Feb 28, 2013, 4:30:21 PM

Nice skill builder. I really like it. I just wanted to submit a simple bug report that really doesn't affect things too much.
Bug: If you zoom in on the skill tree, hold left click on a node, then hit right click... the screen goes black and eventually crashes the program. If this happens to just me... sorry I must be messed up.
" Happens to me too - my bad for accidental click but it does crash for me too.
Awesome work ty very much
