Looks like you've buffed the ever loving Christ out of your own character's defensive stats, at the total expense of your Minions/Spectres.

Being that TV's already melt the end game in a 5-link chest, why have you chosen to use that helm with "Increased Spectre Damage", instead of the build guide recommendations, being that you already have a 6-link chest?

Also, none of your Jewels appear to have any minion regen, defence, leech, block etc.... You could really do with an Unending Hunger jewel as well.

You should also double-check that you have Spectres that were raised in a T16 level map or map area (like the final room in an Oba's Cursed unique map). I have rubbish tier gear compared to yours and my Spectres haven't come close to dying in end-game level content.

All just food for thought, anyway.


Simply got tired of dying on corrupted maps and felt the need to increase defensively. Perhaps I went a little overboard but I know I have died very very little since switching gear. Hunger gem I have looked into before and I think ill still grab that to add a little kick. I think the biggest issue i had at the time was not enough health either. I was running around 3400k health to almost 6k health now. Armor was a huge factor.... Just my preference. Maybe a little overkill but it's helped a lot minus the minions dying....

Im thinking about replacing the scourge with a rare scepter with minion damage +95 % and some other nice stats, what do you guys think about it? Is it worth to loose the minion attack speed to get some more Damage?
Im using flame golems in helmet.

I'm not 100% positive, but i think i've read that the minion damage on those new items don't actually support Spectres. Maybe someone could correct me on that if i'm mistaken?

Thought I'd answer this since I raised the idea of FEs when the dyadus nerf was announced (many pages ago).

Due to the nature of FE's attack and how ignite works, burning support does almost nothing to benefit then. It also means the most effective way to scale them is different to SGs (and TVs). Using Victario's Charity (+necro aegis) and just a single curse, their normal dps and shaper dps:



As you can see from the numbers, FEs deal their damage through an extremely high cast rate of a comparatively weak single hit. This is why burning/ignite is kinda pointless (single 12-20k dot), and why combustion suppport is not useful either.

I reckon FEs are only a little behind TVs for boss killing power because they don't have the issues of totem cast delay/totem turn delay/totems dying. They're far ahead of TVs for clearspeed and I'm pretty sure they're actually faster for clearing than SGs if you build around it. Main downside is that you can't run ele reflect with them.

If you're interested in using FEs, you will need to use a hybrid build instead of life/block.

I'm getting very frustrated trying to keep killing uber elder without resorting to skellies and/or life/aura version of the build. Adding in something like Purity of Ice and going for a lot more armour nodes (as well as going for the %armour/life hybrid prefix instead of mana on armour pieces) might work, but for now I want to keep trying. Even though this kill was not the first, last time I've literally wasted 2 shaper sets before I managed to kill him again. Main problem is degen adds not dying fast enough. I'm using MinDam-EleFoc-ContDest-SpeEch-SlowProj links with proj weakness curse; I wonder whether going with flammability and incorporating something like combustion and/or fire penetration supports (or even pierce instead of slow proj) might work.

Also, AG does not survive that fight. No fucking way in hell. I don't understand how some of necros manage to keep him alive according to their words. I mean, I gave him a damn 40/15 belly, I made sure he has maxed resistances even while not in my aura range, and still it didn't take long for him to die (spectres haven't come close to dying once though ever since I made sure they stay at max res even when not in range of my aura).

Any advice would be damn welcome, my stubborness doesn't let me just focus on other challenges, so I'm keeping atlas completed for now, instead of reshaping it for Armoury/Estuary/Elder Seas farming, so I can get that lvl100 fast out of the way...

In PoB, does your AG have similar stats to this?



I never lost my AG in the Uber fight, even when the screen was filled with degen and anomalies due to my poor gameplay. Big health pool and a decent amount of regen is important. I gave mine a 2% regen chest.

Hey dude, sorry for the late answer

You could try:
- to get a lvl 21 raise animate guardian
- to move your skelly and animate guardian to your helm slot, inside of a +2 minion level helm
- to wait untill your empower reaches lvl 3 or buy a lvl 3 or even lvl 4 empower

But I think all these suggestions are covered in the build guide :)

I'm having 62k hp and 2300 regen. My AG gem is 20/20, minion life is 21/20, fortify is 20/20 and empower is only 3 - all that in a +2 helm. The possible upgrades via AG 21/20 and empower 4 (and even +3 helm) won't give him THAT much more health, I'm afraid...
I switched to TVs, because my party hates SGs and lags when they shooting.

What is the best gems ? (I have initial setup as recommended by the build author)
Has it changed in the new meta ?
