Until you get a sire of shards you can level with any spell damage dagger/wand/sceptre in a 4L with magma orb - remote mine - minefield - elemental focus

Or if you want you can use fire nova mine - minefield - elemental focus - trap and mine damage (or controlled destruction)

I allways lvl up with mines from the very begining and it works fine

How does the gem setup SpellTotem - DetonateMines work? I cast the totem but it doesnt trigger my mines. Any idea whats wrong ?

The mobs need to be close enough for your totem to recognize them. If the mines can reach these mobs, they will trigger. You have to cope with both ranges if you don't want to trigger them manually.

do you also use the classic CWDt-IncreasedDuration-ImmortalCall ?
