Seeing as azi gauntlet is at 23 ex currently, can we use a high dps claw as offhand for the budget version? :)

there is no benefit of using a high dps claw as offhand, it would decrease ur dps unless it has the same dps like mainhand. nevertheless a statstick will boost ur dps much better. either get bloodseeker claws or a >350pdps weapon ;)

Thanks, so ill dualwield seeker than :) For the budget build you are taking oak, for all other builds the +2 passives, putting your reg with bloodrage as negative, so why are you taking oak for the budget version only? Wouldnt the other versions benefit from no degeneration as well, seeing as you are using damage on full life

When using Bloodseeker you dont have any life leech instances in queue that would keep yourself at full life when mapping/moving, because any hit leeches instantly. So you need the life regen from Oak to manage Bloodrage comfortably, unless you get it covered with your gear.

While using Atziri's Acuity you only leech isntantly on Crit. With around 50% critchance you get more than enough lifeleech instances in queue that covers Bloodrage and completely refills your HP pool when being hit faster than with a life flask. That's the trick ;)

I'm currently leveling with frostblades, the early jewel nodes are great for the treshold jewels. FB + WHirling blades is really fast for early leveling.

Also thanks for the detailed answer @lawyne!

As a followup question, dropping bloodrage, taking VP and leech in dualist area thereby freeing up the mainhand slot for a 300 dps+ weapon. Could this up the dps and surivavbility of the budget version (making oak obsolet)?

I've never played a Scion class before, I'm confused on how the passive tree works and why it's not connected

With the scion ascendancy you are able to start in a different area of the tree once you place points in that ascendancy area.

I guess i'm confused on how he only put 9 passives before doing that. I guess he regretted a few of the points i dont know

Thanks, ill just hoard some regrets and keep foloowing your budget version than :)
I just added a Varunastra+VP budget version, I would prolly prefer. also using the Slayer for anti-reflect is nuts...

But honestly there r so many ways to make the BF Scion work budgetwise as well as rich kid wise.

keep posting ur ideas or versions :)
