Hello and congrats for this very detailed guide which I decided to follow as league starter in 3.0.x Because I am not really into PoB and monstly prefer to stick with tooltip numbers (adjusted accordingly when needed in case of ele pen etc. and I am quoting this to be pro-active against possible answers as "tooltip is sht" etc.) and to the actual feeling of the build I have the following simple questions regarding transition to dark pact, based on basic numeric assumptions: -First of all, taking into account boss fights and only Pain Reaver ascendancy effects, one would need actual damage PER CAST more than 6x his life, not taking wither into account. Wither should lower this number of course. But what is an actual safe multiplier between life and TOOLTIP dps which you guys have actually observed in your toons that proved safe enough to make a transition (first without VP and assuming only Pain Reaver)? -Second, which ascendancies do you consider absolutely must in order to be able to safely transition to DP? You are missing alot of damage nodes, gems, head enchant, good rings and ammy, spell damage gloves, belt of deciever is another 10% etc.. I am working on 2 more jewels with life and better rings, maybe i will go for lvl94. Then i will try shaper. A friend of mine plays with double curse and some less damage notes and killed shaper. Hi, i farmed around 60 guardians and i have to say, its pretty easy with this build. Phoenix is the easiest as long as he has no area of effect mods, chimera was just learning the fight and a fast movementskill. Hydra is pretty much walking around and hit her in the face. Here is my current gear, cant say, if i have less or more damage. I dont use pathofbuilding, was to stupid to change it to 3.0 yet. Thanks for the guide, it has been useful. I used the tree to make a Glacial Cascade build for leveling, replacing chaos nodes with spell damage and cold, and then respecced into Dp at around level 80. I kitted him out immediately on changing skills with a 6 link Carcass, and now I am working on leveling gems and saving currency for my other slots. It's a lot of fun. Try using Lightning Golem instead of Flame Golem. Get Fingerless Silk Gloves with Life. Swap out either Onslaught or Sulphur Flask with Diamond Flask. Try using Assassin's Mark instead of Warlord's Mark or Enfeeble. Since you're also only reserving 35% mana from Blasphemy, try also adding Haste in that extra slot. Now check your DPS.
