This guide is incredibly confusing - so many PoB-links, and the ones branded 3.18 league start are 3.16 trees so they don't seem to include patched tree?

I am not quite getting the idea here.
According to the guide, the life-based variant is better for league start, however the POB available is from 3.16, while the guide says to kill all bandits, the POB has Alira.

Could you, if possible, clarify that for me? Is the POB on the levelling section updated? Bandits do I kill all?

Also, a question, why ED over Blight on the 4L?

Played a bit last league, I switched from SRS Auto Bomber (Amazing build btw) to this and I wouldn't really recommend this build. I was constantly dying. Clear was okay-ish. Single Target (Bosses) terrible, survivability terrible. HUGE PASS. I completely forgot about this build until I saw the post, so I wanted to warn players who are looking for exciting gameplay, you wont' find it here. Good luck.

I cant agree. This is really easy build, even cheap version gives much fun. Only thing you have to remember is to keep away from danger. This is not facetank build. Rather hit & run. If you achieve lvl 90, gear similiar to recommended and you're "open minded" in playing and gearing yourself, its not so hard. Levelling isnt hard too. All you have to remember is to cap as much ES as you can, cap resistances, get all needed gems and Shavs 5l(if you cant get 6l) as fast as its possible and(if possible) Aegis too. Thats all. This is not "I wouldn't really recommend this build". You're just adjusted with other build, so this one seems hard to you. I had same word about this build till Ichigo helped me to understand some things here and I just adjusted and learned how to play :)
