I've just hit level 70, how does the leech work? It seems to go okay with packs of mobs but with bosses I find that after spamming blight, it doesnt seem to leech much?

Ill start farming maps to get kaom's heart but i think my other gear also needs work as the hp seems quite low. Also at some stage I'll need to get a new helmet and also keep resists maxed.

Well yeah your helmet and rings (esp the right one) are pretty awful :(. Even if you are on a tight budget you should be able to get yourself a rare helm with fat total life (100+) and a couple resists and probably a coral ring with right resistances to balance them out. These should be within 10 chaos if you don't go for max rolls. Also consider replacing your blue jewels with ones with at least %life and spell damage they are cheap and will benefit you a lot.

Another small tip: buy yourself a corrupted lvl20 dark pact gem. They are dirt-cheap and will give you a nice damage boost and you can keep leveling your own ones in your second weapon set to corrupt them later. No need to gimp yourself with a lvl17 gem this far into the league.

Edit: I just noticed that you are lacking your last ascendancy. Well this is HUGE. I hope you know the difference between more damage vs increased damage (if not read this https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/4lc0uj/question_what_is_the_difference_between_increased/)
tl dr: it literally increases ALL your damage by 40% after all modifiers. You should do uber lab after getting the rares I mentioned before grinding for xp and currency because it will speed up the process by a lot. If you can't do it yourself just find a carry, tons of people are doing it for free if you provide the offering. Although I did it at 70 and I didn't even have cherrubims back then.

Hi there! At first glance, you do need to change your pots. Get a panicked divine and a cautious/bubbling eternal. At lower levels of dark pact and cwc, you may not be able to out leech your life costs if you aren't leeching from a savage hit. Drop silver flask, it doesn't really do much for your dps, blight cwc takes so little mana that a mana flask totally isnt worth it, take a sulfur flask for that 40% increased damage, and never leave home without a basalt flask. Flasks are super important

Change your helm asap, youre missing 110+ hp, followed by your rings, then your belt. Your amulet is kinda okayish but the spell damage roll is missing :(

Another reason why you aren't leeching much is due to lack of spell damage on your tree. you have 3 jewel sockeets, the minimum you should get are 5% hp and 10%spell/chaos dmg on each jewel. You can buy them rare and regal yourself for cheaps.

You have underleveled gems too so your dps will definitely struggle. I do have an extra 20/20 darkpact, whisper me @Slark_lumo for it. If you have the currency, I would recommend a 20/20 cast while channelling as well!

I can't take a look at your jewel due to me being on mobile so I'll look at it later.

Your gear are pretty darn good! You seem to have better gear than me! However you're missing an extra 40-50 life on your helm. This will contribute to defences as well as offences

Just did about 15 gloves trying do +1 level gems on it. and nothing...

how many tries did you get it? If you have one more spare, I would like to buy it ^^

Just to leave a feed for community. Just got 1 after 45 rolls. When I finaly got one +1 sock gems, I tried with 4 more gloves that were ready to corrupted and got 1 more +1lv gems. Such strange thing :)

How much dps should we be looking at for guardians/shaper?

Guardians and shaper can be done easily in the ballpark of arnd 150-200k dps. Looking at your current gear, I would say youre definitely ready to do shaper if you understand the mechanics

I did my first shaper at arnd lvl 89, with sub lvl 20 gems. Its pretty doable actually. Uberatziri on the other hand is much harder
