[3.0] Dark Pact Zerker - Farm shaper/guardian deathless (VIDEO) - Great clear speed

I have a question about damage mods on jewels - is % spell damage, % area damage, % damage, % chaos damage all the same for our build? Is 10% of one equal to 10% of other?

i just cheched on PoB, and suprisingly there is a (very) little difference. it seems that spell/AoE/generic damage are slightly better mods than chaos damage. i suspected it was because chaos damage does not scale Herald of ice added cold damage portion of dark pact while other mods do. i took HoI out and all damage mods scale DP without differences so i guess the difference comes from HoI.

Good news then, because we have more options for jewels, who give us the same results.
interesting this looks better than the dismantle time build i followed since im a noob lol
yes, it's a lot stronger than dismantle version. it's cheaper, faster and we have mutiple time more DPS.

ps : try to have some life on you gear, don't hesitate to buy gear on PoE trade ;)

I think theres something im doing wrong here. In my experience this is by far the worst leveling process i ever had. Killing trash with IB is not a problem (though its way harder then leveling with firestorm or whatever) but fighting against rare mobs and bosses is a pain in the a**.

Could anyone give me some tips here? My profile is public, dark pact-character is "Commonbear".
it's probably my fault, i've not detailled enought the levelling process (and i've not put more thoughts into in, the idea was just getting the build skelleton without struggling too mutch).

i see mutiple mistakes in your gems setup :

- you are using gems sets designed for dark pact build in the infernal blow levelling build.
- you are using alberon's warpath and repentance
- you get no buff from arcane surge
- you are using a shield charge set but you don't have a shield
- you have a wither totem set but you don't get any bonus form it with IB.

i suggest you :

- Get cloaked in savagery right now !!! vaal pact with almost no leech and low damage is probably one of the most painfull and ineffective combination.
- put arcane surge - inc duration - wither - spell totem - faster casting in stash for now. they serve no purpose in IB build.
- get some decent rare boots and gloves (life - resists - AS or added phys for gloves, life - movement speed - resists for boots), keep alebron's and repentance in stash for your transition to DP
- take herald of ash (replace artcic armor if you don't have enought mana)
- dual wield
- don't use shield charge, go for leap slam - faster attack - fortify if you use maces or wirlwind blade if you use swords/dagger/axes
- get a ancestral protector setup to boost your damages against rares and bosses.
- put a few chaos on your gear to boost a bit your life/DPS, decent gear is worth almost nothing now (at least two decent axes or maces : go for %physical, add x-y physical, attacks speed
- get a wise oak and a lion's roar if you have 10-15 chaos to spend

OR

just transition to DP right after you get cloaked in savagery, you have the main skeletton of the build, it should be just fine if you really struggle with infernal blow.

edit : i've written a lot more information for the infernal blow levelling process, it should be a lot easier to understand now.

Btw, you guys should get a rare amulet instead of the Astramentis - most of the time it will be a lot cheaper and you get more dps and more life - it's a win-win situation.

I got this for 5c:
congrats it's a nice one ! i plan to get one when i'm back home. best thing about it is that i would get one extra wither stack with an additional cast speed mod on amulet.

Hi
First, ty for this "tasty" build :)
Little tip - you can put a jewel Efficient Training ( of course, recommended max roll 24 to str ) below Heart and Soul at a left side, after this you'll receive a bonus from Occultist's Dominion plus 3 little nodes- in result 50 str + 24 from implicit Efficient Training. Much more cheaper, but it's a similar like rare jewel with 7 % max life and 2 offensive affixes. Of course, you must remember about int req. from Repentance gloves.
Greets :)
