[3.10 HC] Apep's Darkpact Totems are BACK (original build 3.1-3.3)

Thanks for all the feedback, one of my favorite and best builds I have tried. You have done a great job on it and keeping the feedback going! Sorry for the death but excited to hear about everything you try next.
I want to do a sc uber lab farmer. ... is this build good for that or are There cheaper /better Option for that? :)
Re Uber Lab:

My opinion is that this build is an excellent Uber Lab farmer. Because of our ridiculous trap damage mitigation I was able to enjoy and explore more of the lab than I had done on any other character, provided escorts through the lab for pay regularly, and did several full key runs. In terms of expense, uber lab can be done by our build on 2 apeps and a tabula.



Today's note from beyond the grave:

The other build idea I had was terrible, and I set it aside. I decided to go practice some high level content with my dead character in standard. I'm pleased to report that, although it was not deathless (See aforementioned lack of practice with high level content) I was able to kill Uber Atziri for the first time with this build.

This was literally my second time trying that fight, ever. It was quite challenging, and I died twice. But I expect that with practice one could use the build to farm Uber Atziri in hc. Even without practice one could apparently do so in standard. :>

Now I'm going to see if I can practice Shaper until I can get it right . . .

Just hit level 90 and started Uber Lab farming. Easy af to do, traps deal almost no damage and i'm still using a tabula, this build made me rich in hc, now i can get some juicy upgrades.

Has anyone tried different body armours like Carcass Jack vs. Cherrubim. Which one gives better dps? The problem with Carcass Jack is it don't give armour. I think decently high armour is pretty vital since we don't have other mitigation (like higher res). I would like to do character strictly Str/int.

I was thinking try to run essence worm but don't find highly useful auras. I try to use discipline but it'll be little bit question mark for me how good ES will be w/o putting much skill points for boosting it. I was even thinking Zealoth's Oath but I can't see to manage such a strong ES that could be relied on that.

Btw, just one question. There is a gem that gives easy access to Overcharged-node but that node doesn't work with totems? "on kill" mean when u kill? Just ripped yesterday on lvl83 to poorjoy's asulym before I was able to test it out. Was stupid to try that so early, even before uber lab but build is just so good it gives little bit too much confidence.

This build would have been a monstrous league starter! Too bad didn't know about it.

The build doesnt scale Armour, so 500 armour in a chest is not going to make much diferent, Carcass will be good for damage and some extra mana from es and Cherrubim will provide 2/3% phys reduction with a good damage bonus.
I think a chest with 100+ life and high Es giving more mana will perform way better than trying to scale armour.

IF you use Essence Worm for an aura, will be Discipline, and it's not worth anyways cause we scale mana in the Tree, you will be giving up so much life and resistances on the ring slot for a little amount of ES.

Yes, you wont get anything from notes that needs ''On kill'' effects, it's not you killing stuff

Hello, enjoying the build a lot! Any thoughts on skin of the loyal? Im having problemas finding a good 6l chest, but i don't know if the skin's mitigation scales with MoM and if its worth it overall.
Cool build. Lvl 53, so I haven't really had any 'difficult fights' yet. It probably makes a lot of sense to just spam totems and run around a lot, however.. have you considered Wither+CwC+Warlord's mark? The leech makes the totems last longer and they're tankier. They can even gain the endurance charges. Meanwhile, you're stacking wither stacks. Last but not least, the casting animation looks badaaaass.

I'll probably look at additional options for CwC in a bit. I suppose you could go dual curse, possibly even with blight instead of wither, with enfeeble and temp chains. Do you guys have any suggestions?
is arcane chemistry really worth it, even with MoM?
Anyone has a customized skill-tree with more life maybe?

That Wither+CWC+Warlord's Mark is pretty clever. Even a crit based version can use assassin's mark for the extra crit/power charge on kill chance/crit multi. Though the charges on the marks won't go to your character but rather the totems. So ass mark won't give much of a benefit, though at least with Warlord's there's the lifesteal, regen and stunning along with the end charges to have the totems last longer.
