Frequent and consistent lag spikes
1 week later.. Same thing

Never had any issues... Didn't play for a few days and today it's totally unplayable.
Maps are like a slideshow with an unhealthy dose of rubberbanding... What the hell? This is really going downhill for PoE and GGG... For me it's a throwback to the days of desync... I'm from Portugal, have a 125 Mbit connection, was connected to Amsterdam server, changed server to London and still the same. Hideout ping is normal, go inside a map and it goes berserk. 400ms, 1000ms, 350ms, 800ms... Like that. |

I'm also having issues with latency spikes. Usually every couple minutes or so. I'm on California. I'm going to try another US server a bit later tonight and see if I get better results.

same issues here. nashville, tn to texas. 50 ping spikes to 300+.

I'm also experiencing frequent and severe lag spikes. Conyers, Georgia. The issue is intermittent for me. In my experience so far, the issue seems to happen at night, between like 11 PM and 4 AM EST. Some of the time the connection is smooth. It happens on both DC and Texas gateways.
What I'm experiencing is that every few minutes, I lose connection to the server and am unable to do anything other than watch my character get beat on. The duration of the lag spike is anywhere from a second to long enough to disconnect me completely. Tonight has been especially bad, with a lot of disconnects. Every area is a race to find the WP before I disconnect. I'll try to track down the PoE server IPs and post a WinMTR. WinMTR to the DC gateway for a while didn't show anything out of the ordinary:

Lag and spikes have been an issue for the last 4-5 days (DC server) but today seem to have reached a new level of trouble. Multiple disconnects and constant lag. Definitely server side issue
|

Switching to Texas and DC from California did not help. Tried both connection types and it's a matter of dealing with an obvious stutter or dealing with a rubberband, neither of which is fun. I maintain that the game is playable for me, but you can imagine that having an obvious latency jump so often (between 1 min and 3 min) isn't really satisfactory. I'll note that it does not matter what I am doing as well. The spikes happen while even just standing around in town or the hideout.

I am experiencing the same problems as described already. Tried using different EU servers and even some US ones but still the same problem. Some parts of the day the game is completely unplayable for me. It ran absolutely fine prior to 3.0.

Two days ago the lag spikes and constant DC's made the game unplayable. Today was better in terms of being DC but the lag spikes are seriously bad.
I can go from perfectly normal to lag lag lag back to normal all within 30 seconds. It's really making the game very crappy to pay. You might even say it's verging on unplayable. |
