Frequent and consistent lag spikes
Same here. Especially in the "rush hours" in the evening. Guess it has to do with server load etc. Now for example some maps are unplayable. For me it is the worst performance since years. Hope GGG can fix this problem because game is not fun anymore...

Just lost my first try of the new Beachhead map due to this issue after getting back into the game after 1.5 years. Spent the two past week suffering from the same specific issue but got by with creating new instances each time. But since that's not possible with maps, you end up feeling cheated.. Feelsbadman

So I have two, similar, PCs on the same network and both are hard wired. One has no issues what so ever. The other has the same exact issue as everyone here. I tried a ton of different things until I finally got it working today.
I removed POE entirely from steam and from the steam directory.(probably not even needed) Also renamed the "Path of Exile" folder in "My Games" so a new fresh one would be created. I installed the standalone client. Issue resolved. (latency is stable at 40-50ms after several minutes on running around) I did put the original "path of exile" folder in the "My Games" folder back and everything is still fine. Hope this helps some of you. |

lag spikes like you wouldn't believe at times upwards of 1200, makes it unplayable and that's on the AUS server, also the lack of any type of response from GGG regarding this issue that is now 15 pages long is worrying, and from my standpoint isn't doing their credibility any good whatsoever. Come on GGG get your act together and give us some sort of notification that you're aware of the problem, even if you don't really know what's causing it, just let us knowthat you're actually looking into it.

It´s intresting.
I made a ticket for over 2½ week ago regarding this issue and after a little conversation and WinMTR data all they could say was contact your local ISP provider. Thing is, i did not have this issue before 3.0 I dont have this issue in any other games. Some instances in the game is impossible to play, other´s are "fine" (with little lag). I dont know what my internet provider can do about some instances in GGG game. It feels like they dont will look into this any further becuase we are not so "many" players, and i have not seen a single streamer with this problem. Edit: i play PoE from Steam. Constant lag spikes here. Latency stable at ~33ms with lag spikes every minute or even more often. Experimenting with guides to fix the connection but it seems like it's Wraeclast which needs to check its cables.

Enter Shaped Racecourse, ping spikes from 24->400->24->300+ and stuttering around when moving. Leave map, everything is fine.
There is no way that my ISP is hosting the server for my Shaped Racecourse and bottlenecking the traffic to just that one instance. I don´t see how GGG can keep ignoring this. They must be working on it or at least know about it so some kind of reply would be nice. |

On an added note. Considering how low the droprate is for red maps having them bricked every so often and losing another one without any returns is hurting endgame experience.

Just lost 2 Beachhead maps thanks to unexpected disconnection and duplicate operation error.
I wrote GGG a long letter now, hope they will make a statement and fix these problems. |

Yea, keep dreaming buddy. If a larger group of players doesn't report any problems, why bother with a small one - That's the GGG thinking about this atm. Just wait till the next major update in December and hope that everything will work fine.
