Greetings from finland, the land of affordable 300mb internets.

However, they do control how long we have to update before the league starts. Giving us such a tiny window and then completely shafting the entire steam playerbase with the torrent is very disappointing.

Sidenote: it's much easier to supply cheap internet when your entire country is smaller in size and population than a single city here.

So when steam users will be able to download 3.0?

I'm at work currently, but i guess i will need to stop doing any actual work and instead put together a starter build.

After 1.3 I've always enjoyed making my own builds insted of looking at guides, so can't stop doing that now!

2 of the 6 builds I was hoping to play this league was seemingly gutted. But another opened instead, so... =)

Dreading some of these "they got a lot more HP" bosses, considering i only play the HC leagues.

For those downloading the torrent:

I have a pretty crappy internet connection and I'm still downloading @ 800-900kb/s. What you need to do if you are using uTorrent is to increase the total connections and connections per torrent (I have 500 global and 200 per torrent). Also set your upload limit way up (I have it at 400kb/s) and stop all other torrents you might be seeding. This works because uTorrent uses an algorithm that favors nodes with high upload speeds. You can test this by setting your upload limit to 1kb/s - you'll be getting around 20kb/s download speed.

When I started there were 40 seeders, I downloaded it in 40min, now I helped seed this for others (400+ seeds, 1100+ peers atm)

How to install the file?

When I donwload.

As far as I understand, steam will allways load the whole content.ggpk, when there is a patch regarding it.

The file we get through the torrent is not the complete content.ggpk as far as i understand and there still is 1-3 gb left to patch.
This means the torrent does not help steam becuase steam will download the complete content.ggpk anyway.

For refference, my current content.ggpk is roughly 11.9 GB, quite some diffrence to the 7 GB of the torrent
