just punch with staff (VS + faster attacts)
SR is lvl 1 because You do not need damage from it, just debuff (- fire res stacks)
You can use q20 gem (longer beam)

You can not remove debuff with full life...only utility flask can remove debuff regardless life/mana/etc

btw, today for a first time from about 80 runs I could not put down shaper
doing deathless/1/2/3 deaths like 90/7/2/1



ridiculous, 1st time died at 25% of his hp, simultaneously slam + clone beam, shit happens
after rejoin chamber got 2 vortices almost in centre of map, but with slices of safe ground for one foot
so far so good, i need only 5-8 sec to take 25% of remaining hitpoints, this is just one cycle slam.beam/portal/bubble ....hmmmm
I experienced the most bizarre part I have ever seen, I should launch fraps and save this for future generations instead of casting "spells" containing litany of "harsh language"...or at least use culling strike staff :)

Have any of you completed the Mao Kun unique map this league? I've attempted it twice now and both times the game has logged me out and upon logging back in I'm unable to take my portals back into the map. Was wondering if its due to some whispering ice bug or if I'm just getting really bad luck.

Also, I'm curious for those who have killed both Uber Atziri and Shaper, which one was more difficult for you? I just killed Uber Atziri for the first time ever a couple days ago and it was intense as hell. I'm preparing myself to run shaper soon.

I got a Mao Kun from cards once in this league and cleared it without any issues. That was early in the league, dunno if GGG managed to introduce an instance crash since then.

The Shaper is harder, but Uber Atziri is much less available. You can buy T16 maps or straight Shaper sets easily and get some practice. While Mortal sets are very expensive, and you can't afford to blow them.

An advice if you want to practice Uber Atziri before trying the real thing: gimp yourself by removing all jewels, maybe a major hp piece (like Kaom's), and 1-2 staff gems, then do a bunch of normal Atziri kills until you get used to everything there.

tried Mao 2 times in last two weeks, no issues (no multithreading in settings, i have old i52500K, OC)

yes this is the best solution, cut hp/res/dps in half and try to survive without flasks
another option is to try Vaal Temple map, trio fight at Uber Atz could be messy too...having practice is highly recommended, no time to waste portals on them

Well, not quite as harsh: don't unmax your resist, and using flasks is OK (without Staunching you can get owned even in the Apex map).

VT is too random to be worth it as a practice target. Most of the time it's too easy even with random mods. Almost nothing you can get in VT can come close to the double damage and double life mods in Alluring Abyss. You can see me facetanking two enraged fire guys with Vulnerability in the latest video, but one Double Strike on enrage from that guy in Uber is instant death.

I'd say, gimp yourself to these stats to practice normal Atziri before trying Uber:
