Path of Exile 3.0.0: The Fall of Oriath Patch Notes

RIP guardian righteous fire, my favorite build. Between ES nerf and righteous fire nerf its almost a 60% damage reduction combined with the fact that map boses have a ton more hp it is no longer a viable build, and there is no longer any viable builds for guardian (in my opinion) RIP my favorite acendancy well done ggg
I just recently started playing this game and I was fearful that I was 'late to the party' and that maybe this game was too old already. At the same time, I was slowly falling in love with the game and could not stop playing. This new expansion just crushed all those fears! It is as if the game was brand new. Last time I was this excited for a release was for Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction.

Thank you 'GGG' and happy new league everyone.

"All weapons which previously inflicted Bleeding or Poison on hit (or critical strike) now only inflict Bleeding or Poison on hits (or critical strikes) with that specific weapon."

To clarify, does this mean that a weapon (like Atziri's Disfavour) used by for example Ancestral Warchief totems would no longer inflict bleed? Would the totems not count as using that weapon as it technically "uses the main hand weapon to attack"?
"Worst patch notes ever. The game is officially ruined and dead. Way too many nerfs - literally unplayable. I'm uninstalling for good."

So happy to see the changes to Death's Oath and already hyped to finally bring my 6-L-Death's Oath to good use - but what's that? Divine Orb won't update that chest piece?!?!

What the ...!

What's the reason for some items being able to update to new versions with Divine Orbs and other items not? Can't make any sense of that :-/

Me mad! (But still interested in an answer.)

Thx,

Nelson
I'm mostly disappointed because all the bad skills that nobody used are still bad. Some of the best skills were nerfed.

I don't think 3.0 introduced many new builds, and I think that the best builds of 3.0 will be meta 2.6 builds that were lucky to avoid the nerfhammer. Things like barrage weren't touched when RF totems were basically deleted from the game. I still see things like Baron SRS being incredibly strong.

I dunno, I'm mostly disappointed. If anything, build diversity seems to have gotten worse with this patch. I'd love to be proved wrong, I guess time will tell.

So much crying

It's almost as if people don't like things they like using being made worse... crazy. Truly baffling.

This is the same time one of the most wished expansions ever, and the same time the complete turn off for me as a CI player.

Seems like the sum of all fears is going to happen, and I am really disappointed to see the countdown timer measuring the time until I enter the game, pass trough all acts for the sake of exploration for probably my last time in PoE.

Anyway I salute all phy/convertors/hp builds which turned from OP to Uber OP. Cheers guys.

+1
