Skill Preview: Dark Pact

Any melee skill with the expansion?
Really disappointed to see only elemental/chaos options.

How would the skill interact with traps and mines?

Considering the mechanical questions coming from this skill reveal, hopefully there will be some sort of manifesto or Q&A explaining how it works in certain situations.

However, based on the video starting at 12 seconds, we see the caster is using the skill and is losing life through ES. When they say it expends life it would seem it can only expend life even if you're specced into CI, meaning it's not usable as CI and it's likely a bad idea as Low Life.

It seems they're really kicking ES down. Reminds me of how the WoW devs once wanting Ret paladins, and I quote, "Nerfed to the ground."

Sounded good until I read that it doesn't count as damage. Way to limit build variety. Proof that GGG isn't what they used to be right here... CWDT would be awesome with this, but we might have fun doing that, so nope!

Combining two of my favorite things. Skelebros, and chaos damage.
This skill is going to be sick.

This expansion actually is more focused on melee than casters.
It is the largest clean overkill for casters known to the human kind.

A new skill that has some sort of damage base in life. So, really no build difference since those going life already invest in life. -_-

But, at least nice to see a new chaos damage skill. Just not wowed by it yet, at least until we see its full damage potential.
