WARNING newb speaking lol....
so when the oriath version gets released what happens to the player i have been working on in legacy league? Will oriath be a different mode to select at game start or be a separate client? this is a pretty major gameplay change so just wondering how this will work
Legacy league is a void league, all gets deleted. Fall of Oriath is not gonna change how you start the game, its like a big patch with tons of content, thats it.
It's not a void league - that would mean all the characters and items get deleted; when it ends everything gets transferred to Standard league.

really guess what im trying to get at is should i spend my currency on good items for my character in legacy or save my currency for the oriath release? again apologize for being not so knowledgeable. just started playing about 1 month ago.. really appreciate everyone's help and advice...

Well, if you plan on playing Standard in the new patch than you can do either. But items are less expensive in Legacy so I guess if you can find something you like you should buy it now.
And if you plan on playing the new league - Harbinger when the expansion is released then your currency from Legacy will end up in Standard along with your characters and Harbinger league will start with a new fresh economy so if you make a character there you will start with an empty stash.
My suggestion is you play the new league, it's always more fun than playing Standard even if you have to start from scratch.

I really like the music and scenes that are used for intro. 4.08 is sooner then I expected. I feel bad Legacy league will end soon.

awesome clarification thank you.... just finding it weird that the currency doesnt transfer from your stash between accounts...
