" Yes, it's getting reworked and the recipe is getting scrapped so it will be possible to obtain the sword right at the start of the game and it will scale with level so you will be able to use it for the entire playthrough. better is flurry channeling teleport (permanent charged 6, two aoe huge dmg), but nonsense

" Not seeing how it would need to be built up from the ground again, making it channeled wouldn't change anything compared to how it works in 2.6 or 3.0. You can hold down the cyclone attack and continuously move around..whether in a long line or several smaller lines; and the new functionality in 3.0 makes this even less problematic. Just like how Blade Flurry works ( and now the new charged dash ), having Cyclone as a channel skill wouldn't be a hindrance to it's original design or damage output. I also don't see how this would be problematic as a CwC build...since again, it wouldn't change anything from the current live version where several builds do CoC. It's not as if cyclone is going to have dramatic server instability compared to a CwC flame blast / wither / etc. since the proc of CwC is independent of cyclone's attack speed. IF anything ..having a CWC option would save server calculations and regulate / cap build damage. Not sure how you would expect to run a CoC or CwC build with Cyclone and not be hitting things in melee range, so I don't see the relevance or point of your last comment. Doing so would cut off a huge portion of your mobility and damage output.and would be no different in gameplay than playing flame blast ..but would be vastly inferior to just playing flame blast. - will that work with bows/wands? - will that work with ranged attack totems?
