Logged in, saw that Legacy league was still running, with no news on plans to end it, logged off. Wake me up when the nightmare ends.

So disapointed that not only no mtx update, but no discussion about what's going on there. Just eerie silence from GGG on the subject.

To those who keep asking for "ending legacy": what do you actually want? Do you simply want your legacy chars and stuff in standard? Besides that, I don't see how ending legacy benefits you in anyway, as you can still go play in standard even if legacy is not ended, and lf Legacy end, there won't be another new league to replace it.
So, if what you want is "having your legacy chars move to standard", instead of asking to end legacy when there's still many people enjoying it AND when it's not the solution to your problem, why not simply ask (politely would be better) GGG to let you move all your legacy chars to standard when you so chose, reusing the mechanism they implemented for SSF? If on the other side you want to end legacy because you're bored of it and went back to standard, but are alone there due to most people either staying on legacy or taking a break, you're selfish and ending legacy won't change much for you, considering that the people currently playing legacy will most likely not go play standard when it ends, which means that it would change nothing for you and remove some fun for people. TL;DR stop asking for ending legacy, ask instead for what you actually want and would not deprive other people: ask for your characters to be moved from legacy to standard (SSF style). | |

this is a game where any opinion matter. Not just me, but most folks want new league or something challenging to play.

" Yeah, and ending legacy will do absolutely nothing for that, they don't have another league ready to queue up. For that your options are: - testing stuff in the beta - races If they listen to the folks asking for legacy to end, there will be exactly ONE outcome: legacy will no longer exist and will be merged into standard, and there will just be one less option to have fun until 3.0 comes out. So the only change for people who no longer play legacy is to have their stuff in standard, and if that's what they want, then just fucking ask for this and not removing an option for fun from other people. |
