Me & UberElite talked about creating this build on the PoETalk podcast before Mayhem/Turmoil. Once completed during the first of those leagues Uber hit #1 lvl 100, so I decided to wait for him to upload his guide prior to mine out of respect :)

Uber is one of the few other really good summoner players we have in our community. We have slight playstyle variations of personal preferences. Last change he did was to add the second duration clusters which I personally feel is not worth the eHP loss for such a small QoL addition.
But in the end, both builds works the same way, both are easily followed it will come down to a matter of personal taste! :)

I don't consider the duration nodes as a "small QoL addition". Every seconds our srs exist every seconds they contribute to our dps, this is especially true on boss where we need to cast and move often, with less than 10 srs out most of the time, each of them alive for 1 more seconds is a great deal for us! because that last second while sticking on boss is pure dps second, much more valuable than the first couple seconds.

What I lack is time to cast out SRS. Either I have ample time to cast SRS in combat and do well, or just run from a large mob of powerful adds (Chimera esp.) and have no time to cast enough SRS to clear them out, which in Beachhead and Chimera esp. means I can't keep up with enemy spawn rate and I certainly can't tank that horde to keep casting SRS. Other times my SRS simply die to boss AoE after taking a few nibbles at it. Worst offender - the Vortex Totem essence rares.

Would +1k or so life make a difference from upgrading the gear? Granted, 75% of my rares are self-found. I don't feel damage is lacking, when I get the chance to have 10+ skulls out. Phoenix, lacking an add phase, didn't feel too bad, but was quite slow. Chimera itself was fine, but during the second add phase the snakes destroyed me - quickly rushed me down and forced me to move, not allowing me to cast SRS to clear their numbers. Of course, there is the Decoy Totem. But it doesn't buy me enough time on things I struggle with, and almost trivializes fights which I can already do. And I need to level it back to 20 I guess.

Upgraded some gear, but it find it really slow to kill things ~t14+. POB says 29k per minion (580k @20). I have 7.5k health, should this be higher? Also is cast speed still an important stat even with flesh offering/ascendancy talents?
