Announcing the Two-Week Turmoil Event!

I´m a bit curious on the statistics on what they read from both forums and reddit. if they only listening to the amount of people just saying non-void vs all the other 80% that wanted an really hard and rewarding race(didin´t specific say the wanted an void race). Also why didin´t GGG make and straw poll or something and making the voting alot easier and more trustworthy then listening all the "cry-babies".

ofc i´m really glad the made another race so we that are tired of current legacy league/beta or dont have beta have something to do during the 3.0 wait.

i will play the race, but still abit underwhelmed by the amount of difficulty this race have to offer, sure it´s an non-void. But still thinks races should have more challenge then this thing.

No offense to anyone or GGG just wanted to let my thought to be heard.

As many have pointed out, the easiest way to somewhat fix this league is to just turn
on 2 RANDOM MODS per zone instead of one.
This would make for some interesting combinations (for example ghosts make more sense, like in a zone with exiles/invaders), alas giving something new that wasnt in the mayhem race.
Also it would make leveling more challenging and in the endgame further push people to run different maps (strongboxes + beyond in cells over spirits and invaders in strand for example).

And yes, of course there would be more loot. Does anyone really think this RUINS the standard economy ? And if so, does that even matter ?? Please say so then. So far I havent read a single comment suggesting that ...

Lol @ generous, PoE is one of the least generous diablo-likes when it comes to loot. and as if core-league economy wasnt more than trash already and most items didnt matter (is GGG really that scared that a mirror-worthy rare might drop in these 2 week events?)

The only generosity is in race prizes (which are clearly there to incentivize people to play this weak race/event)

People complaining about non-voided, I don't get it. Can't please everybody I guess. What difference does it make?

Awesome news, awesome league. All the butt-hurt people, no one cares about you. No really, no one, you are the ones that will complain regardless if its one way or the other.
You are even now complaining about the extra effort they made to give us an additional event, instead of just sitting on their ass with 3.0 and let us wait in silence for a few more weeks. Go play some other games where the Devs will give 0 $hits about all of you.

Glad that GGG gave us a fresh start and something to do for 2 weeks while waiting for 3.0.
