Burn damage from HoA is negligible anyway, so yes, it's just for the extra fire damage.

It's always nice to hear others' progress and idea. This guide has been significantly improved over time with the help of people from this thread.

Ive been running the pure phys build with Starforge, and I would suggest, if you have the gear and mana to spare that you use the haste gem instead of Arctic Armour.
It gives overall a nice increase in attack speed, movement and cast speed.

Still playing Sunder & Warchief combo and finished Malachai with ease. Got lucky with leveling weapons in SSF so far.

Why don't use Marohi Erqi Karui Maul?

Whit the "Socketed Gems are Supported by level 15 Increased Area of Effect" don't you save a socket?

Even with an additional socket, it does not have more DPS than a cheap different 2h.

I'd personally use Brine King (unless you're wearing Kaom's Roots).

Lunaris is an ok choice if you're stacking dodge with Atziri's Step, but note that currently it's bugged and the phys reduction is actually increased armour, making it near useless (unless this has been fixed recently). Actually there're a lot of bugs with the Pantheon system at the moment that it's hard to tell what's really working.

Ralakesh shouldn't be needed since you can just roll a Staunching flask, but it's good for labs. I personally use Grukthul.
