All Pets on Sale This Weekend!

As someone who's had the lightning scorpion for a long time, I'm a bit upset its included in this sale. It isn't as great as some of the more recently released pets but its been a status symbol of sorts for someone who has invested a pretty significant amount to help this game grow. Its been nice that no other pet has passed that cost so it has stayed at the top of the price-line for pets.
This sale kinda shits all over that idea tho. | |

You know, I've never actually looked at the prices of the pets before, but what in the world makes adding a single special effect more than double the price on some of them? Like, a flaming lizard is worth 8 normal lizards? I feel like I'm missing something.
Also, I'm amazed some of these are not cosmetics for skills, like the Flaming basilisk replacing Summon Raging Spirit or something.
