There should be race rewards for the first to complete certain objectives as well as for the top level.
I think more people could reasonably compete for things like first 5 to kill Merc Malachai, Atziri, Uber Atziri, Shaper, etc., that don't have the time or patience for a lvl 100. Maybe first to fully unlock their atlas? Lots of potential. Also, the top lvl characters should be given more race rewards, not just number 1 in each ascendancy. Maybe top 10. When the competitive nature of this game revolves around being able to play the game as your job and do it for 15+ hours a day, that is a turn off to many. Finally, you could consider having race rewards only be given out if your character is alive at the end of the race. Might make for an interesting dynamic. |

I don't have much of an opinion, but all of the people that are advocating lots of breaches, spawns and what not and then expecting it to be non-voided are likely not thinking this through.
