Yeah, my idea is basically like legacy with less (no) clicks. I edited my post to add a TLDR: Top magic leaguestones ( e.g., https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1884019), rotating like Mayhem, boosted Reliquary Key drop rates, MTX mystery chests for multiple achievements per accoount

Also, "top magic leaguestones" is probably not best approach, since "top" depends on availability (i.e, more rare leaguestones/mods are less likely to be top). But GGG seemed aware of that in the legacy league stats post, so I would be optimistic that, if this idea got traction, they would pick the "coolest" magic leaguestone for each of the 17 leagues. :)

I see a lot of people want flashback, and I think legacy league was really intended to be a flashback league. It seems like the leaguestone micromanagement got a bit tedious, especially since the league has gone on for so long. The Mayhem race really seemed to work well (ESPECIALLY for encouraging diverse zone farming), so might be a good way to give that flashback feeling while taking the micromanagement out of the equation. And since the magic leaguestones are not quite as extreme as the Mayhem mods, it should have even less need to be voided.

This means "additional Rare monsters" (from Nemesis) to feed Headhunter, and "100% global increased Pack Size" (from Uber Beyond)! :D
Clearly the best combination!

You should deff consider the difficulty of the race. you want a race that everyone will want to play not just the elitist.
