Yea, using the newest mainstream HW isn't a "normal PC". People don't just buy the latest HW every 3 months, that's a quite ridiculously optimistic assumption.

Are you okay all those specs are pretty normal if not actually lower then the modern pc built within the last 4 years.

I'm sorry if those parts which you could build a PC for like $400 that lasts you 3+ years is too much for you to invest in.

this is not a normal computer, that is over a $1000 pc....its not even capable to be run on low end pcs, i doubt even a $600 pc could run the game how it should be on top of the extremely garbage servers on the U.S side alone. how about you get off your $2000+ pcs GGG and buy a $200-400 pc and actually try playing the game for once. when half the players own low end pcs and play this you dont understand what a normal pc is, most people aren't able to afford outside graphics cards.

a "normal" pc
AMD a6-5200
4GB RAM

and yes i know AMD is not the greatest to game on but its what a normal pc comes with that is affordable.

i5-6500 205$
1050 Ti 130$
8gb ram 60$
That's 400$
Add 40$ for a case, 50$ for a mobo, 50$ for a psu 80$ for an hdd and you're looking at ~620$ from scratch.

200-400$ pc for gaming? a6-5200 for gaming?? That is enough for a basic browsing pc. That is not a gaming pc.
People not being able to afford 600$ is one thing, gaming on 200$ pc is ridiculous.
Wow. Legendary. You guys never cease to amaze.
Would you please consider any performance update for cases, when one is opening Strongboxes? Maybe something like pre-buffering monster spawn or so (if something like that is even possible). Because I often die opening a Strongbox due to 1-3 seconds lag (depends on number of monsters and other spells casted by Strongbox). I usually survive by accident in case the monsters are weak, but in Merciless difficulty I die most of the times - later I stopped opening these, but this way I`m losing chance to find good items and currency.
(maybe it`s not a new idea, but didn`t check all the old threads regarding this)
Thanks for considering this!
After so many years, you can still amaze me so much that i sit in front of my box with an open jaw! Thanks!

if jonathan posts something in the daily news it's always a hammer, be it a positive or negative one :)

i'm myself had no performance issues with my 4 year old i7/gtx780 rig, but then i rarely play in bigger parties anymore...

This is the second most anticipated feature since lockstep in 2.0.
1050Ti is already overkill for PoE, i play since 3 years with my old 5850 1Gb and have no problem at all (but it's Dx9, not 11).
My CPU is ok too, but is still more than up to date (i5-2500K @4.5).

For me, the problem is the network. I played 2,5 years with a 30+ mbps connection and of course noticed nothing.
Since 6 months i moved and now have 3,5mbps connection. With ADSL TV off all is fine, but when the TV is on i only have 0,5mbits/s left (62kBytes/s), and it is clearly not enough. My <50ms ping without TV then runs frequently @200ms, with peaks at nearly 1000 ms which makes the game unplayable (like we were back to desync days, before lockstep).

Perhaps some optimizations could be also done regarding network bandwidth.
SSF for ever :)
