Why do you use Wasp Nest claws instead of Touch of Anguish? Is the attack speed worth the loss of phys damage and crit?

Also, I think you mean to suggest claw damage on your jewels, not sword damage.
How hard would it be to take this build to uber atz? i'm doing mathil's but its basically the same thing as this one
How good is this for endgame?

I played ED Contagion as my starter and for my second build I'm looking for something I can invest most of my currency into and keep improving. I'm playing on softcore, and was wondering is this good at both mapping and bossing? I read a few posts in last few pages saying people are having issues surviving in red maps?


I don't wanna invest a couple exalted into this build just to find I'll have a decent bit of trouble surviving. Does this work relatively well on a budget? I heard this build is very similar to the one Mathil did as well? I hope to find the gems for this build tonight and start on it tomorrow, hopefully I can get some answers.
I've got the same questions as other people :

- Is this build viable for end-game contents ? (U-Atziri, Shaper, Elder, Guardians)

- What would be end-game gear setup ?

- Particularly for weapon : rare claw (high phys or high elem ?), Touch of Anguish ?

It's definitely end-game viable with the right amount of currency put into it. I've cleared the entire atlas with my version of the build which is similar to Mathil's as well. All of these projectile based builds using X skill + molten strike for single target are practically the same. For this to be tanky enough to tackle the harder red maps and the end game bosses I'd say you have to have a belly and high life off pieces though. There just won't be enough life to survive any hits without them. I'm currently running with 5.7k life and doing just fine.

Yes it's viable, you can read my previous post where I helped answer the same question. You can look at my gear setup that I have used to clear the entire atlas minus a few unique maps. High end rare claws will always be best but are incredibly expensive.

Thanks for the reply, but damn looking through your gear it's easily like 15exalts just between your helm enchant/chest mainly lol. I'd think you can clear red maps with ease with most builds when you invest that much currency into it lol.


I'm in between this build and the a templar Inquis Molten strike build right now on the forums. (Ele Claw Inquis). But both of these builds seem like they require quite a heavy investment to function well into even red maps alone, I only got a few exalted total so not sure if I'll be able to make this work :(

was struggling with my chinsol iceshot/barrage @ 77, was a quick tree fix to try yours, and boy am i rocking now :)
