[3.0] Hybrid Righteous Fire Trickster (5000+ ES/sec sustained regeneration)
Before running this build, it is assumed that you have read Yalani's Low Life Righteous Fire* Guide in it's entirety. Why bother?
Because I was curious and wanted to go full retard on regeneration and push it to the max. Hybrid RF trickster 3.0 all Guardians and Shaper (one long take) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px0zn_Gst7Q Shaper Kill (different from above) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuVxMAY-n74
Path of Building pastebin from the video
https://pastebin.com/F3XT7Wep Changes from 2.6: Drop Empower(Purity of Fire, Discipline), switch to (Purity of Fire, Discipline, Arctic Armour). Arctic Armour is better for bossing (chilled ground doesn't have reduced effect), and gives flat phys reduction when still. Drop Shavronne's revelation. Mind over Matter is great for chaos DOT (poison, essence drain). Very easy to cap chaos DOT resistance with the Arakaali pantheon. Pantheon choices: Tukohama gives great survivability in terms of regeneration AND flat physical damage reduction. Pair this with Arctic Armour for (8+13) = 21% physical damage reduction. Better than a basalt flask against Shaper slams. Use Arakaali for reduced DOT and free chaos resistance when mapping. Switch to Solaris for Shaper fight for the 20% chance to weaken his slam, and to nullify golden ball crit damage. I finally gave in and put a 5L scorching ray in my chest piece. It was a nice damage boost.

These recovery modifiers work on the summed value: Recovery = (Regeneration+Recharge+Leech+Flasks)*(1+PR+BFS) This means with a good recovery roll on BFS, your regeneration is effectively 2x your character sheet. This chest has been used in other builds like Dela's Beastmode Inquisitor (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1810211), but I found that getting enough damage is difficult if you want to take regen to the max. Character Sheets:
Char
In hideout (2459*1.38 = 3393 ES/sec): In battle, after getting hit to proc boot enchant (2707*1.98 = 5359 ES/sec): In battle, on consecrated ground (3202*1.98 = 6339 ES/sec): This build relies heavily on regeneration, so the natural choice is to go Righteous Fire. Here is a quick breakdown of the differences between Hybrid Righteous Fire Trickster (HRFT), and the more common Yalani LLRFG build. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/660316 Pros/cons of LL vs. Hybrid
LL-Hybrid
LL: +Pain attunement for secondary spells +Can run 3 more auras (Purities+vitality) +Vitality gives 2.4% regen with maxed aura effect +Chaos damage does not bypass ES 0Chaos damage is still damage -Purity auras do nothing for physical damage -Cannot use Divination Distillate if mana is full Hybrid: +Can run -% max + vulnerability maps +can run -60% recovery maps +2k life pool provides cushion for physical damage +Instant life flasks when everything is drained +Beast Fur Shawl provides ~10% ES/sec regen +Divination Distillate gives +4-6 maxres, a ruby/sapphire/topaz flask all-in-one -Need to carry a Divination Distillate or life flask -Chaos damage bypasses ES 0Monster chaos damage is usually weak Don't hybrid builds die to chaos damage? Most chaos damage in the game is very weak. GGG wouldn't make a monster deal a majority of its damage as chaos, since that means zero damage against a CI build. For this reason, I have taken multiple videos with Poison map mods, as well as Atziri runs. That way, you can get a feel for how much chaos damage is actually in the game. It's really not that much! Most of the time, I intentionally wait to use my flask until I need the extra regen. Yes, you will die running extra chaos-heavy Vaal Temple, or Hall of Grandmasters. Every build is about making tradeoffs, after all. Pros/cons of Guardian vs. Trickster (assuming 12k ES and 2500ES/s char sheet regeneration)
Guardian-Trickster
Guardian +Armor and ES from Radiant Faith (150 flat ES for most builds, 400 ES with MoM nodes and a little stacking) +Aura Effect nodes +Time of Need gives 3600 ES/sec every 5 seconds = 720 ES/sec average -Unreliable when you are hit with steady damage from heavy packs Trickster: +Evasion and ES from Shade Form (250 flat ES) +Walk the Aether allows use of Shavronne's Revelation +Patient Reaper gives a steady 1500 ES/sec in combat -Patient Reaper gives 0 ES/sec for bosses without minions (bring a writhing jar) The pros of LLRFG (Purity of ice, aura effect, and regen w/o boss minions) means that LLRFG is significantly stronger against Shaper, and Hall of Grandmasters. HRFT is stronger against heavy packs and bosses that continuously spawn minions. Passive Tree
Passive
poeurl.com/blqW Experimental 3.0 tree for guardian. Changes are mind over matter and some mana reservation nodes. Note that although we could reserved three auras on Mana, we will not. We will use that extra Mana cushion against chaos damage. poeurl.com/bl4J Required gear/links for RF. This is a pretty similar to most other RF builds, but I like the vertex because it avoids the need to corrupt a level 21 purity of fire, or level 4 empower.
Gear
Gear visualized: http://poe-profile.info/profile/I3igpete/DoItLiveFukinThingSucks Delirium gloves - RF - Elefocus - Inc. Burning - IncAOE/ConcEffect Purity of Fire - Empower - Enlighten - Discipline Note that the Enlighten doesn't actually do anything for us, because movement skills are free. I simply create the larger mana pool so Divination Distillate lasts longer (see below). Other Interactions:
Interactions
Shavronne's Revelation downside (no mana regen) is actually an upside for us. Normally, we are shield charging around (free due to Walk the Aether). When it comes time for boss fights, you will want to drain your mana (I summon multiple Scorching Ray Totems) and then pop a divination distillate. This provides +4-6 maxres while the flask is active. A writhing jar flask can be used for bosses with no adds/minions (Daresso, Chimera, Shaper). Otherwise, the chest uses shield charge to do the following simultaneously: -Apply flat lightning damage from amulet (Elemental Equilibrium) -Crits for negligible damage (Elemental Overload) -Fortify -Curse on Hit (Elemental Weakness) Finally, some "nice to have" items for extra regen are a marble or primal skull talisman, and a pair of regen-on-hit boots The following are optional. Some people prefer Doryani's Catalyst for more damage, I like the extra tankiness of Ephemeral Edge. Budget options
Budget
Most of the expensive items in my build are pure optional, and only provide a marginal improvement. Here are some substitutions: The enchant on this is unnecessary, and only provides a little extra DPS. Buying an unenchanted vertex: 4ex -> 10chaos The foil version of Shavronne's Revelation effectively gives gives 960 regen vs 720 for a regular version. Using a regular version: 12ex -> 2ex. If you cannot afford a Shavronne's Revelation, you should switch to Guardian which uses time of need (free). The 6th link on my chest piece is used for Additional Accuracy support, which helps me crit more reliably. Without it, you may sometimes lose Elemental Overload when fighting standalone bosses. Using a 5link instead: 6ex -> 30chaos Thoughts on 3.0 changes
3.0
-Gear and Jewelry changes will drop my total ES from 12.5k to 10k :( +Patient reaper changes (60->70 recovery) helps us, but will be cancelled out by lower ES totals (above) Removal of %More ES nodes behind Chaos Inoculation will not affect us, since RF cannot use CI Ghost Reaver will not affect us, we do not leech Vaal Pact will not affect us, we do not leech Mind over matter will help us, but only slightly. Since MoM only interacts with Life and not ES, this will not divert the RF degen like on life builds. Therefore, the changes mostly affect incoming chaos damage. 2.6: MoM absorbs chaos hits (snakes) 3.0: MoM absorbs chaos hits (snakes) and chaos degens (caustic clouds, desecrated ground). Everything is specced into energy shield on the tree. When a little chaos damage gets through, I pop a divination distillate flask (1 chaos). This recovers some life, while at the same time increasing my maximum resistance so I regenerate ES even faster.

I was thinking about it and if you can still attack with trickster free movement skills, why not run MOM so you are actually out of mana all the time while taking damage? Would it be too difficult to cast scorching ray totems? It might let you keep up divination even more. Or do you not have problems keeping it up? Just spam totems?

Funny you should mention that, I was actually experimenting back and forth with MoM this week, after hearing about the 3.0 changes. The MoM-DOT changes will be especially useful for this build. It's like an additional +30% chaos resist for caustic clouds.
I think I will continue using MoM, since it's a bit of a hassle to drain my mana to use DD. The scorching ray debuff is "nice to have," but is by no means necessary. I recently added a video of twin Abyss Kaoms with all support gems removed, and they go down pretty quick (and leisurely). Last edited by i3igpete#2996 on Jun 15, 2017, 2:06:09 PM

Yeah it should actually work nicely. Plus it is only 1 point since it is on your path in your tree.
