[3.0] WanderFinder Under 1ex Guardians/Shaper no problem.
playing this at beta, lvl 89. it was really cheap to start, got some upgrades and it feels awesome now. Even with 5link, 21k barrage tooltip with just auras+golem. My only problems are missing +1 charge and 4-5? skill points on beta, which limits jewels/life.

So I posted a few pages back that I would try this build on 2.6 with a few modifications, as a Champion instead with Queen of the Forest. I ended up doing that, leveled to 92 so far, have some reasonable gear but nothing too crazy:
Spoiler
Sitting around 5k life, killed all guardians and Shaper with it (only tried Shaper once, died a couple times due to my own bad play, but could see it being deathless with good play, was able to do all guardians deathless at least once, could be done consistently with better play). Also an excellent Lab Runner with QoTF, was working at finishing my last challenges, did like 30+ lab runs on this char, all deathless/fast/easy (for the lab runs I used a Jade Flask of Reflexes instead of Dying Sun since I kill Izaro instantly anyway and the Jade flask gives about 40% move speed with QoTF). Gear isn't optimal either, don't have extra Barrage Projectile helmet enchant for example. Also, obviously QoTF isn't really great/useful for bossing, you could switch to Belly of the Beast or whatever else, which I did do sometimes, but for general mapping I really liked the QoTF with a Jade Flask, usually instead of Dying Sun. For bosses Dying Sun + Belly or something like that would be much better. I really like the playstyle, KB+Herald of Ice is so satisfying for mapping. What I also found interesting is that I decided to dump my currency on a Legacy Reach of the Council + Signal Fire Pathfinder as my last character of the league, went all out with Headhunter, Skyforths, 6L Legacy Reach, etc.
Spoiler
100% playing wander as league starter in 3.0, either pathfinder or champion, will have to see. Champion feels very tanky, I like using the Perseverance belt for the permanent Onslaught, and with Druidic Rite and Primal Spirit flask nodes I generally had close to 100% flask uptime anyway while mapping, and on longer boss fights it never felt too detrimental; plus I didn't even pick up the Alchemist wheel on the Champion (could do with some tree changes) which would help in that regard. Overall very happy with this build outline (and very disappointed in that Signal Fire Reach Pathfinder I tried) Last edited by Greymane2k#6401 on Jul 17, 2017, 2:11:35 PM

What is the best 5l setup for barrage, before i can afford 6l?

" Can you show your equipment and the tree of talents ?? |
|
" sure, here's the path of building pastebin https://pastebin.com/Vssg2XU4 It seems now that biggest upgrades for me are dying sun and 6link, but I'd like to know if there is anything else I can improve |

" remove lightning pen No rest for the wicked

On mobile atm so i cant check easily but how good would adding static electricity jewels be.
|
|
" Hmm, that sounds very interesting. Do you find Champion comparable to Pathfinder in terms of this build's overall performance? I only ask because I've never played a Champion before and I've been somewhat conditioned to believe that Pathfinder is "always the strongest option". |

Currently doing the 2.6 Race. Have this in Beta as well around my 80's but with way worse gear. Despite the worse gear it clears and farms pretty well. I actually felt like I died more in 2.6 vs 3.0. I haven't done much maps or gone into crazy end tier things.
This is my current gear in the race. Just trying to figure out what to upgrade...
Spoiler
I can push around 40k-50k KB damage and 30k Barrage damage. Don't have my UBER lab finished yet which will add additional 20% attack speed. What I noticed the most was the difference in Crit vs 3.0 and 2.6. This build I am sitting around 31-32% crit pre-charges. In 3.0 I sit around 53% crit pre-charges. |
