Labyrinth

OP, why did you buy the lab donation pack? By giving GGG money, you're telling them that you approve of the content.

Good point but wrong logic. Because i had money to spend on anything at the time they released this sup packs and i just bought the one i can afford. Not about the lab, for supporting.

To be honest, im not salty actually, not even mad. Personally thinking GGG members are doing a great job about this complexity. But when it comes to the Lab bullshit i want to shoot every one of them. It's completely out of the aRPG elements.

One more thread from another player about TombRaiderTrapsForLove. So many players have threads about Labyrinth, most of them insulting and rude. Because GGG deserves every rude word about Lab. And some retarded players defending Lab against them. Funny thing is, this lab defenders are the same fucking brainless players who defending the old repeating levelling quest line. And then when GGG announced the 10 act, same players hyped much more than the Lab haters. Dafuck is that. Is this some kind of vegan joke?

Labyrinth is an Asian Bullshit
Playing on HC. Leveled Mara caster to 45. Gone to the normal Sarn Lab door. Closed. Alt+F4. I dont have any time for this bullshit right now.

Again logged in. In Sarn, thinking about uninstalling this game because of Lab. Gave up because the endgame is fun. 6 fucking trials for a bullshit. No map mark no guidance, nothing, just go and find the fucking bullshit 6 times. Done. Gone to the normal Sarn Lab door. Entering the area. Lag spikes. Going to find the way again without any tutorial, guidance, map markers. Second Izaro fight done. BOOM Unexpected disconnect. No portal, no checkpoint. Nothing. Alt+f4.

Logging in. Thinking about uninstall but no, don't give up, this game is good. Going to normal Lab again. Done in 10 minutes with insane lag spikes because of traps. Bullshit traps. Levelling again.

Today i logged in my HC Mara on Cruel again. Started with Dried Lake and farmed a bit for Malachai fight. After enough farm gone to the Sarn for Lab. The door was closed. Because i had to do same bullshit trap stuff and touch a fucking stupid stone for 6 times. And for the Merciless too. Even if i done all of this bullshit in Softcore Legacy i have to do the same shit for HC again. Is this a fucking job or a game? Pushing players on a zero fun content for "key" stones. Claps for GrindingGorillaGames.

Jideament is obviously disgusted by the horrible game play in the labyrinth. An ARPG is all about kill-monsters-get-loot. The labyrinth is boring bad game play that is not kill-monsters-get-loot game play. I no longer play this game anymore. It was my favorite game of all time then the fun was destroyed by the labyrinth. I tried ignoring the horrible labyrinth for a few leagues. I suffered through labyrinth for a league or two. I also continued playing old characters longer than I usually would that had already ascended because I couldn't stand the thought of going through the horrible labyrinth again. Finally, I just gave up and played Grim Dawn and now Diable 3. I'm now left with hoping that my favorite game of all time is returned to greatness by GGG.

What I cannot abide, is the fucking Uber lab. And it is not the whole entire Uber lab. The extra trap types and totems, sure, I can deal with that. It is the postage stamp-sized, trap riddled final room in which you have to do the fight.

I am far from an end game expert......but I breeze through the 9-whatever rooms to get to the final fight, maybe he has one or two buffs because I damaged him TOO FAST in the previous 2 fights......and before I even have a chance to scope out where to start or stand I am in a saw blade or an increased damage aura or whatever and BAM one shot.

THAT is what I hate about lab. That one thing. No, wait, also the inevitable Git Gud assholes who will trivialize my frustrations.

Slaanesh69 started playing PoE well before most of us. He has financially supported his game even though he doesn't like normal, cruel, and merciless labs but can stand them. The Uber lab is hated though. When I went through my first map trial I thought that GGG had taken everything bad that I hated about labyrinth and concentrated it down to make it even worse. I did a few end game trials but never completed the full set. In order to enter the trial I had to be in a masochistic mood in the first place.

Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!

I completed trials and labs in three different legacy leagues this time around. I don't think i qualify as sane anymore.

If i understand correctly then trials are the way the developers thought of to get us accustomed to trap mechanics; a kind of tutorial, in a sense. Excluding the map trials though, which give "keys" for uber lab, why do the other ones have to be completed each and every league, if they are the tutorial? Which other modern game doesn't let you skip the tutorial?

And if it is not a tutorial then what is it? A way to make us play the areas we otherwise wouldn't bother with? That's pretty arrogant dear developers.

Even if there aren't so many trials when this becomes single difficulty, i don't think i'll be coming back for 3.0. Not only is the lab so irritating, the non-map trials which are static and should be considered as a tutorial are hardly engaging and serve no other purpose than to exacerbate the negative feelings this mario-frogger labyrinth platforming brings for a longer than needed time period.

You are making normal lab shorter. Good. Now make non map trials account-wide while deciding in which other ways you want to improve the lab.

I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

The two fights with Izaro before the third fight is what buffs him. Otherwise he wont one shot you unless hes buffed from those fights. Thats why if you allow those two encounters to buff him you get two extra keys. If that's your issue then why not give up the two keys and just disable the mechanics that buff him in the first two fights? Most of the are disabled easily by simply killing the things buffing him in those fights. Charge disruptors simply touch on of them right before you deal the last bit of damage for him to end the fight.

Ive made a few builds that are just not good for doing uber lab (Because some are made for it while others are just not very good for it) And if im running such a build i even disable his buffs and dont worry about the extra keys if all im wanting is my last 2 points for the build.

If you disable those buffs in the first two fights the third fight he will have no extra buffs and therefore will most likely not one shot you if you had no issues getting one shot in the first two fights. Hope this helps.
