The Ascendant Class Changes

hypee finally!!
Necromancer- you and allies deal 30% increased damage while affected by auras you cast=== not bad but only 1 aura.

elementalist- 1 additional golem- hummmm

flaskfinder- buff =)

Raider- removed 25% avoid elemental status ailments/10% move speed f... =(

Guardian- hum not bad- only 1 aura

inquisitor = same sh..

And now she's REALLY good.
The Scion will still be a shit class after these changes. Too low numbers and too much conditional stuff like "on kill", "on full life", etc. It would be nice to see the Scion get some more buffs since I have not played her for a very long time.

EDIT: I think that conditional damage and other effects are really interesting and potentially build enabling but it just doesnt compare to the benefits of the other classes ascendancies unless you buff the numbers much more.

Scion seems bad still. Unless all other ascendancies will be nerfed a lot.

On kill effects and a chance to avoid things suck.
Why make it so you only gain power charges while mapping and then on bosses you need another way? And who would like to have a % chance to not get frozen for instance? Somebody that likes to die I guess.

I think Slayer/Assassin will be nice. Or slayer/raider. Elementalist with raider or assassin will also be nice. If they leave reflect in the game, I think almost everyone that is self casting or attacking will be playing some form of slayer/elementalist and possibly ascendant. You will absolutely have to run one of these so you do not die to reflect. Although the ring might be enough. It is going to be weird.

These "buffs" Still seam really underwhelming.. I do not think she will be played still.

Yeah, he forgot Sybils Lament of 40%. Reflect is pretty much the only thing that can kill you when running maps once you have good gear. This takes care of that.

But this is near worthless on my Scion build. Specifically, I don't invest in preventing elemental reflect, so with just 50%, it's worthless to me. I use both direct spells and totems for DPS, so I just stop my primary damage spell and let me totems clear maps with reflect elemental damage. So now, reflect won't kill my build, it just slows it down. So why the Frack would I want to lose my 30% elemental damage boost from a golem (in my case, cold damage), for a worthless-to-me 50% reduced elemental reflect? See, pointless for some builds. It's a nerf, not a buff for me.

Assuming you actually want to start from a second class this is nice, but you could actually get 4 passive points from ascendant previously and it wasn't enough to make people use scion.
