" You are pointing out one of...maybe 2 builds that Do damage using a skill based off the monsters HP. So... this build can allow for high HP since it relies on that HP for its REGEN to COUNTER the DEGEN. Tell me how many build play RF that use 5k HP? |

" Yeah, but this is way too little, and even more worsens the defense rolls for a little life. They need to just add the life to the flat defense rolls currently in game, minus ES armors. This also does NOTHING for the already severely lacking uniques in-game IGN:Axe_Crazy

" Get your facts straight, most ES builds run 150-200% ES from the tree. This number varies based on personal feel. The build you linked has 309% life from the tree. Someone posted another video of his and he had 314% life from the tree. Thats a much steeper investment than any ES build currently to get anywhere near the same result. Most life builds now shoot for 170-200% life and thats about all they can spend, even more so if they are on the right side of the tree. |

I don't get your complaint here. 20k ES is pretty standard for Essence Drain characters (and they don't have to worry about reflect). Don't also forget (as it seems so many whiners have) that the new thing with 3.0 is the Pantheon system which gives us huge defensive buffs. |

Physical damage reduction is a nonfactor if u ask me. Biggest threat to any player still comes from an elemental source unless its name is Argus.

" Nearly all bow builds would prefer being life (bow nodes are closer to life than ES), they just were forced to be ES because of how insanely OP ES builds were. Now they can get the same 5-6k life easily (also Kaom's is basically meant for bow builds because you already get a 6L from your weapon where many other builds use a shield), so with Kaom's and the PROPOSED (not finalized, will be tested) changes, bow builds can get more life than ES in most cases. |

Good fixes, thank you GGG. ES builds are nerfed and life builds are buffed at the same time.
I am concerned about denying Vaal Pact for ES builds. In next patch, with no possibility to instant leech ES with GR+VP, ES builds seems to be overnerfed. May be there is another way to nerf GR+VP instead? ES VP builds have an implicit advantage over life VP builds because VP prevents life from regenerating, but not prevents ES from recharging. As an alternative nerf for GR+VP, for example, make VP also preventing ES from recharging if GR is taken, or make VP also reducing ES recharge rate by 75% (?) less if GR is taken. Also, VP is not the only way to instant leech. Item "Atziri's Acuity" grants instant leech on crits. I assume for GR+VP builds this item should be nerfed too? //sorry for bad english retired from forum because of censorship and discrimination
